"Everything else is good, the service is super poor! Nothing wrong, it is super bad! ! The front desk clerk did not smile, went to the check-in face like a dead fish, and was good at lying. Obviously, I booked a business bed. I deliberately said that there was no room to upgrade the room type. The result gave me a cheaper one. Fortunately, I have lived a few times before and can distinguish it. I immediately went downstairs to find the front desk, and then my original room type was again, it was really disgusting! ! ! Just this service, the room is comfortable and I don't want to come."

"Although the hotel facilities are a bit dated, the service absolutely deserves a five-star rating. The front desk staff were polite and thoughtful, and service requests were promptly attended to. Since there were three of us staying, they generously provided an extra breakfast. The breakfast was excellent, offering a rich variety of options compared to other hotels of a similar standard. Even for someone like me who is a picky eater, there was plenty to choose from, and I felt completely satisfied. The restaurant staff were also very courteous and provided attentive service in a timely manner. I was even pleasantly surprised to find that the bathroom faucets were Hansgrohe. Overall, it was a very satisfying stay. If I had to mention any minor drawbacks, the hotel's shower caps were too small to fit my head – I hope they can improve their selection of amenities in the future. The room lighting was a bit dim, the telephone was out of order, and the bathroom lacked a rain shower. However, none of these issues significantly impacted my overall experience."

"Our room was spacious and bright, offering a beautiful river view. The hotel service was truly exceptional; staff personally delivered our luggage to the room, and any issues were addressed promptly and professionally. We found the hotel manager to be incredibly welcoming and hospitable. 👍👍 A pleasant surprise was discovering that Yan Pai Dang, located downstairs, is part of the renowned Ninghai Shifu group, and Zhang Fu Ji, where breakfast is served, also operates under the same excellent culinary umbrella. The food offerings were truly outstanding. Our stay at Ascott on the final day truly made our family trip to Ningbo exceptionally enjoyable."

"Great hotel, the beds are extremely comfortable. The staff is really lovely. The breakfast was varied and quite tasty though very much Chinese, so not for every foreign traveler. The rooms are spacious and the shower is very good as well. The location is OK, some restaurants around, but the metro is a little far. Really depends on why you are in Ningbo. For us, it was convenient but I wouldn't stay here for tourism."

"Great location. Stayed in about 10+ different hotels in Ningbo area and this one is decent. Rooms are big. You can get plenty of bottled waters from the cleaning cart. The breakfast buffet has plenty of varieties! Probably around 30+ different choices. Congee and wonton soup. Coffee and juice."

"The staff is very welcoming and friendly. The rooms are comfortable and their breakfast is savoury. The hotel is located within minutes from the nearest metro station, making it fast and easy to reach the city centre. The only downside of my trip was the presence of students on a field trip. They were extremely noisy and loud and kept running up and down the corridors, knocking at doors randomly."

"Location very near Gulou Metro Line 2 and easy access from the airport. Hotel just outside Exit A just beside ATOUR Hotel, surrounded by restaurants and very near underground shopping area and Drum Tower shopping street. Room is clean and comfortable but the breakfast is very plain and simple not worth to pay additional 20RMB for it. Will stay again here on my next visit"

"Everything was great. Immensely convenient, being located at 2 subway lines intersection, just 100m away from the nearest subway entrance. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean and bright rooms. Even got free and tasty soft ice cream at the hotel lobby, which I had one every time back. Lucky to be upgraded, and had a slightly bigger room, open city view and free mini-bar for our 1 week stay"
