I have been a global traveler and quite savvy in selecting good hotels:) Now I have to say that Intercontinental Hotels are my very favorite choice!
The hotel is tastefully decorated and the room is elegant, clean and comfortable w a sweeping view of Ningbo city and rivers. The staff members are extremely helpful, especially Leslie who graciously granted us the privilege to be upgraded to the executive lounge so we could enjoy some snacks while enjoying the spectacular views from the top/25th floor.
The famous breakfast buffet here is also amazing. We had a great time trying a huge variety of Chinese and Western foods, such as specialty foods from Ningbo and lots of green vegetables. Absolutely loving these!Intercontinental Hotels are highly recommended to people who would enjoy a luxurious and comfortable staying in China.

Very nice hotel option for who will join the trade show at Canton fair complex that is just minutes from the hotel, with option of shuttle bus, clean, good service, good breakfast.

My stay at InterContinental Ningbo was fantastic, especially thanks to Angle Cheng's outstanding service. She made me feel at home with her friendly demeanor and went above and beyond to ensure my comfort. Highly recommend!

Bad impression on their coffee shop. Had breakfast yesterday and saw a lot of tables with used dishes piling up. Obviously guests had left but seems like no one is cleaning up. And the table I sat at has water stains all over it. Looked like whoever doing the cleaning did not not look and only got job half done.
Room I was in the A/C was not working properly. I told the front desk in the morning and asked them to fix it but when I came back in the evening, the A/C is still now working. The draining system in the bathroom sink did not work. I had water in the sink when I left the room in the morning and when I came back in the evening, the water in the sink is gone but I found out the drainage system is still not working. It shows whoever serviced the room did not have the heart to get the job done correctly.
One good thing to talk about is the hotel did offer me another room due to the A/C problem.
Looks like the management is not doing their job.

It is a fantastic hotel. The staff was wonderful, the pool and gym are first rate. The room was, as well. I am extremely satisfied and hated to leave.

It was a great place to stay 2 nights with family and kids specially. They lived the food and swimming pool even in this winter season. Love to come back again someday.
