Coastal Grand Resort - Ooty

Food not good and no heater no tv. No service boy, no hot water, wasteeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Under staff. Poorly maintained property. Considering the service. Over priced. Breakfast is. But in-house food for lunch or dinner not at all standards.

The room i got and it's not worth it. It was just 1000- worth room. This room is not suitable for families. This property can only serve the purpose of bed. We can't expect anything else from this. Just by seeing the photos uploaded by the owner and book the room. Because, there is lot of difference between the photos i saw before booking and real fact after i visited. Even i struggle a lot to take bath in the morning without hot water. I used kettle to make the hot water. Just think how horrible this is in the ooty temperature. Also, i told them to recharge the tv, but they didn't do it. Also they given the drinking water after we asked them. They don't have proper hotel culture. Coming to room environment, everything is broken. Window glass, main door lock. Bathroom lock, inside door handle. It's so horrible.

Hotel was good staff and manager was very helpful, location was also very good but room requires maintenance, restaurant size was very small, it become over crowded when everyone comes for dinner/breakfast.

Worst experience ever. we had to make many calls for basic necessities in the room. 1. Check in was nice. Once we checked into the room, there were no towels, toiletries and even no drinking water. then we had to call the staff again and wait around 30 mins for Drinking water . 2. The Restaurant food was terrible, ordered chicken curry, chapathi and noodles for kids, The noodles were made with a lot of onion and were spicy too for kids, and chicken curry had a lot of chilly and lac of chicken and spicy too, so we had chapathi with noodles.( After the argument with chef they haven't charged chicken curry) 😔 3. When we book the room for Two nights it shows that there is a bonfire but after check in only they said that they will provide bonfire only on weekend days. 4. No proper hot water and water pressure on the first day after complaining they have cleared for the second day After all the worst and pathetic stays, I will not recommend this for anyone.

It was a good & tidy resort with the beautiful tea plantation view. The service was good with good staff.
