The hotel overall is great for the price paid, and service was excellent especially from the Vietnamese girl at the front desk who speaks English AND Japanese fluently. Even Japanese guests thought she was Jap. Haha. However, the company could do with hiring a bit more staff as there are things that need a bit more attention and some repairs needed in the room. That being said, the rooms are huge! The outdoor onsen was also colder than expected (although this is explained during check in) and is best in the morning.

When sitting in the lobby area, you can enjoy the snow view of the garden. The food and service are up to standard. But the most disappointing part is that the onsen water in the room was not hot at all, I had to pour hot water to make it warm.

Location:- The hotel is walking distance from train station and although bus is irregular, it is manageable. There is a small (super friendly) convenient store & restaurants near the hotel.
Hotel Food - expensive but top Japanese quality
Hotel Service - Superb.. ***** definitely 5 stars. I misplaced my phone and despite its late (almost 10pm), they helped me to search, even outside of the hotel., and in the end found it blocked by (under) my open suite case (i was packing to check out next day).. very embarrassing for me 😅😅.. so I really grateful for their patience and going out all the way to help me 🙏🙏

Location : not many shops or restaurants nearby, need to drive 20 mins to the town of 鬼怒川
Facilities : indoor onsen water is super hot, no electric doors when I return hotel around 20:00, Wi-Fi in the room is quite weak， water leakage in the toilet of the room
Services: front desk old woman can’t speak English as expected but bad attitude, no smile at all. She did not even try to offer any assistance when I ask her to help me to give a call to car rental shop

The hotel is quiet and peaceful. If you stay here, you will get a full rest. There is a delicious restaurant nearby. The fried chicken is very delicious. The room is spacious and comfortable to sleep in. There was a time when it rained all over the place. I was sleeping in the room and was very happy.

Very quiet place, very close to the station, 7/8 minutes walk. There are some small bugs in the room. The tatami is very comfortable to sleep on, but it is a bit inconvenient to get up. I hope there are non-tatami rooms. There are not many trains here. Be sure to check the train schedule in advance when traveling.

I stayed there by myself. If you want to enjoy a stay, hot spring and meals, I think it is a good ryokan. There is no sauna in the bath. Meals are not prepared unless you make a reservation.
