The hotel is very comfortable, the waiter's attitude is very good, the room is very good, but the Japanese restaurant experience is too bad, the waiter is seriously unfriendly to Chinese people, we 6 people spent 8,000 RMB dinner 🍾️ the product is not sorry for the charge, the service attitude is not friendly, Chinese people are friends all over the world, can you be more friendly

The service is very good. There are waiters who can speak Chinese and are very kind. The food was also great, kaiseki was amazing, very good tableside service, traditional Japanese restaurant. There are two public hot spring baths with their own characteristics. The male bath and the female bath are fixed every night, so you can experience both baths. The hot spring quality is very good, the hotel environment is clean and there are many facilities, which is very suitable for family travel. A very recommended hotel.

An old hot spring hotel! Breakfast and dinner are really cost-effective! The food is delicious, from fish to small pots! Appetizer strawberry wine, hot tea and dessert after dinner! The hot spring is also quite good. We are the family of four adults with children. It is a very satisfying stay experience! I have lived in a lot of expensive places before, but it feels similar. Cost-effective leverage, praise!

The service is attentive, the food in the restaurant is delicious, the room is clean, and the outdoor hot spring pool can only be described as 👍. However, the location is relatively remote and it is inconvenient to take a taxi. Fortunately, the counter staff was very enthusiastic to help call a taxi, and it was included in the pocket list.

Excellent
YYutangzhenhaoheHighly recommended! The hotel is located by the Chuzenji Lake. It has a small number of rooms and is a hot spring hotel with one night and two meals. The service is warm and thoughtful. The dinner and breakfast are rich and delicious, really great. This time I booked a traditional Japanese-style room on the first floor without a bathroom. The window is the Chuzenji Lake, and the view is unbeatable. The hot springs in Koshangen are divided into three rooms, men's, women's and private. For private hot springs, you only need to write the usage time on the door to enjoy it. If I come to Nikko again in the future, I will choose Koshangen. It is very cost-effective.

The family is in their 30s. The room is large and the dinner is very luxurious. It is worthy of the specifications of the New Year’s Eve dinner. The service is very meticulous and thoughtful. The hot spring does not feel any minerals, but the venue is large and has an open air. When we left, we had a lot of luggage and took the initiative to drive us to the station, generally affordable

BBenjaminsim87An extravagant Onsen Hotel experience. I came in Autumn in the depth of fall colours. Every night the wind in the trees lulled me to bed. The rooms with the private tub and terrace are awesome. Dinner and breakfast is luxurious too with a sampling of local Nikko delicacies like Yuba. A hotel for adults looking for calm and solace.

GGuest UserThe room photos are obviously enlarged. The triple room was changed to a double room. The room is so small that you can hardly turn around. The hot spring is also small and poorly maintained (there is no door closer for the outdoor hot spring). The breakfast is more like a joke. It is a pure diet meal. It is nutritious enough. Two slices of ham are the only meat. There is no porridge. The building has flavor and the service has attitude, but it can't stop the low cost performance. The location is good and convenient for travel. It's okay.

HHoSVery old school ryokan run by very friendly who has been working there for many years. Your name will be displayed on the board next to the entrance of the ryokan to show that they were currently welcoming these guests staying at the ryokan! We stayed there for 2 nights with free parking and we didn’t have to drive anywhere until we checked out as the ryokan is within walking distance to the 3 major world heritage listed shrines including The Toshogu Palace. Avoid room 312 or 313 (which we stayed) which are the smallest rooms. Those rooms in the middle parts are bigger and more comfortable. Do ask for any room facing the back of the ryokan and avoid those facing the front where you only see car parks with coaches coming in the morning bringing tourists to the shrines. The onsite Onsen for ryokan guests, breakfasts and dinners are the highlights. You’d love the traditional Japanese meals served there and you won’t be hungry. Would I come back to this ryokan again? Yes definitely due to its location and friendly staff.

DDaria GrWe stayed at the hotel in October 2024. We took a room for 8 people, there were four of us in it. Pros: 1. The room has almost everything you need, from a washing machine to a capsule coffee machine and your own grill. 2. Very comfortable pillows and futons. 3. There is a full set of accessories for dogs. 4. There is your own onsen. 5. Heated floors in the recreation area. 6. Parking for cars. 7. Balcony with a huge table. Cons: 0. Bad location. About 20 minutes walk from the station in the opposite direction from the attractions. The hotel is in a dark, remote place. There are not sidewalks everywhere on the way to the hotel. On one side of the hotel is an industrial zone, on the other - a highway. We barely found it at night. There are no cafes or public places nearby, but there are two combinis within a 10-minute walk. There are no bus stops nearby - walk to the station, then take a bus to the attractions. The hotel is primarily intended for vacationers arriving in their own cars. The hotel itself looks like a classic American motel with entrances from the street. 1. Painful check-in: you need to enter your data into the tablet in the room, our data was lost several times, and we had to re-enter it. They require a photo of your passport, a photo of the person. Then you need to call a live employee and confirm your check-in on camera, answer questions. We could not get through to him for about 10 minutes. In total, it took us at least half an hour to check-in. 2. I discovered that the tablet we checked in on had a camera on while it was on the stand and was filming everything that was happening in the room. Of course, we did not give permission for this. I recommend removing the tablet from the stand and placing it face down on the table. 3. One toilet and one shower in a room designed for 8 people. 4. Eight people won't fit in this room. Two double beds are in one room (not very convenient, no privacy), but there is no place to put four futons for the other guests. We barely fit two futons, moving the table to the side. 5. No iron. 6. The washing machine does not show the temperature. I threw my sneakers in the dryer, after drying they shrank by two sizes (had to throw them out), since the temperature was extra-high, but there was no information about this on the washing machine display. 7. Broken door to the bathroom, slightly worn furniture.

MmamaaixiaoxiangThe price of 500+ per night for two people with breakfast and dinner is not available in Japanese hot spring hotels. Moreover, the breakfast and dinner for two days are different. Although it is a set meal for each person, you can eat a lot. The food is very delicious and the ingredients are very fresh. The group purchase coupon bought by Ctrip on 919, but not many people bought it, probably because Kawaji Hot Spring is not as famous as Kinugawa Hot Spring, which is 8 kilometers away. In fact, the quality of hot springs in each place is different, and the therapeutic effect is also different. For the purpose of health preservation, soak in various kinds of hot springs, and there are many benefits.

GGuest UserAs a Ctrip Gold Diamond member, I never write reviews for hotels I've been to, but this time, I have to especially thank the hotel's Chinese receptionist, Ms. Yu (I don't know if it's this Yu or that Yu, please forgive me if I write it wrong). Ms. Yu is very serious and responsible in her work, and she is also very enthusiastic and willing to help others. She patiently explained to me the hotel's environmental structure and various precautions, and personally took me to understand the location and usage of the hotel facilities. After learning that I wanted to have a massage to relieve fatigue, she took the initiative to take me to communicate with the masseur to determine the time and specific items, etc. She was very patient. I hope to see you again next time I come to your hotel, thank you 🙏

GGuest UserThe second time I stayed here, the first time I stayed in a Western-style room. The room was large and very new. The second time I brought my parents to stay, I chose a traditional Japanese-style room. When I opened the window, I could see the snow-capped mountains and mountains. The attitude of the service staff is very good and the experience is very good. Staff will take the initiative to help make the bed at night. The atmosphere of the restaurant is very good, each restaurant has a fixed location, and dinner and breakfast are prepared in advance. However, the included meals are vegetarian by default. If you want to change meat, remember to tell customer service in advance.

GGuest UserDefinitely one of the closest if not the closest accommodation within station. The owner also operates a bar right beside the accommodation so if you want to have late night chat or get together, its not a problem. The bed is also heated, which is desirable during the winter or cold weather. The only downside is there is no dedicated front desk. You have to call their phone number if they are not around. If not for other waiting travelers who have japanese phone, we could have been waiting for hours.
