HOTEL LiVEMAX Niigata Ekimae

For a general business hotel, the rooms are spacious and not too crowded. There are paid parking lots, pubs, restaurants, etc. nearby, which is very convenient. The wash basin was a little clogged but not a big deal.

I often stay at Livemax when I travel to other regions. It's very close, about a 3-minute walk from Niigata Station after taking the direct limousine bus from the airport. The return bus stop for the airport, number 18, is also nearby, so it's easy to move around even with a suitcase. The front desk staff are very polite in their explanations. Since it was just one night, the room was spacious enough, most amenities were included, and the facilities had been newly replaced, so it was comfortable. Also, there is a microwave here, so it's great to be able to heat up the local food you take home! The elevators are crowded at check-out time, as mentioned in the reviews, but I checked out at 9:50 and it didn't affect me. I think it's fine as long as you check out a little outside of peak hours. If I have the chance to come to Niigata, I'll use it again.

It's not right near Niigata Station, but it's a short walk away, and there's a convenience store nearby. The place is cheaply built, and the tables are old. There's hot water and cups, but no tea bags. It's nice to have a microwave in the room.

The room is OK. No problem for personal accommodation. 7-8 minutes walk from the station. There are no attractions in Niigata. No problem for a short break. The counter is on the second floor. 9,000 yen compensation for lost cards. Overall, it is comfortable.
