The next day, we stayed overnight to go hiking in Mt. Adatara to see the autumn leaves. The hotel is located on a hill a little up from the Dake Onsen town, so the view from the room was great. We arrived late in the evening, so the parking lot in front of the hotel was full, so we parked in a parking lot a little lower. The water from the underground water of Mt. Adatara, which was placed in a pot in the room, was delicious. The Japanese-style room was of standard size, and the reception set had four chairs. The safe had a lock. The toilet had a washlet, which is a given these days. The hot spring water was of good quality, and the open-air bath was also very pleasant. The dressing room was spacious, and there were 12 washing areas. There was draft beer outside the entrance corridor, but it was charged. If you go a little further out by the window, there was a place to relax after the bath, and a smoking room. Outside there was an observation deck and a foot bath. There was ramen in the izakaya corner, but I wonder if anyone would eat it after they were full from dinner? We had dinner in a chic-decorated room. At the entrance, there was a display of Nihonmatsu City sake tasting sets (1,430 yen), so I tried it. I could feel the individuality of the four types. The course meal had a few dishes, so I couldn't eat rice. The grilled Japanese black beef shabu-shabu was delicious, especially after the hike. All the dishes were quite elaborate and delicious. I was able to see the sunrise from my room at 5:45. The view of the sea of ​​clouds was also beautiful. Breakfast was served at 7:00, but when I went there a little earlier, there was already a line, probably because there were many people climbing Mt. Adatara. The buffet items were arranged and lined up in a way that made it difficult to move through them in one line, so it seemed inefficient. If you purchase tickets for the Mt. Adatara Ropeway at the hotel, you can get a discount. Please note that the Adatara Valley Okudake Nature Trail is currently closed due to the effects of the typhoon.
