The host was exceptionally good and welcoming. The place is tranquil and peaceful. You can take a walk through the woods and soak up in the natural pool.

Park your car and walk .Lovely rural setting in quiet garden.Forget about the rest of the world, with no TV to bother you. Close to restaurants and tourist attractions.Friendly and informative hosts. Wonderful bookshop close by

Wonderful appointed rooms overlooking a lovely garden. Furrows lodge is conveniently located in this a quaint Karoo town of Nieu-Bethesda. Our host Althea was always there to make our stay most enjoyable and always accommodating. Be sure to eat at the Waenhuis Restaurant for a great Karoo eating experience

I can highly recommend Furtows lodge. Our short stay there, far exceed our expectations. The unit was tastefully and immaculately furnished and all pur needs catered for. The owner, Althea, was amazing. Her husband owns the restaurant "Die Waaenhuis" where we enjoyed an outstanding even meal. We will definitely be back! I would give it 10 stars out of 5 if I could!

We were in room 1 at the back of the house. It is a great setting and the room is beautifully furnished. The lodge is nicely isolated but also within walking distance of where the action is. Overall a thoroughly enjoyable stay at a really classy place.

A true Gem in the Karoo. We had an amazing stay. The unit was well equipped for the stay; it was neat and clean. The location was superb, the setting AMAZING- beautiful and tranquil garden setting. The property is walking distance to all the attractions and restaurants are at your doorstep. We really loved our stay and will definitely be back!!
