My family lives in Stock Stadt, so i was delighted to find this re-creation of a Medieval Village hotel only 10 minutes away, sequestered out in the middle of meadows. (no town or shops in easy walking distance) Wonderful fairytale book architecture on the outside, with a luxury wellness resort on the inside. Sadly, no AC. When i brought this up with the less than friendly staff, i received little sympathy. Yes, i don't think we saw a single staff member smile once. The breakfast room was gorgeous. Unfortunately we had to pay 25 Euro each for breakfast, so it wasn't included in our stay. But their private beach at the lake was heavenly, their salt room was rejuvenating, and their other spa amenities satisfying. Just don't expect much hospitality from the staff. Still, we can't wait to return!

1 This is the first No service hotel I have ever had the displeasure of staying. No service is an understatement. The room was very clean. That was it. Reception staff rude. Ammenities zero. Coffee/tea facilities zero. Over rated & under delivering. Stay at the YMCA for a better service. Great location. Internet is worse than dial up.

The venue is top notch. The lake has a beach and the atmosphere is very inviting. Perfect for business conferences and get always. The food was also very well cooked and presented, fine dining atmosphere. The chefs were very professional, restaurants had great ambience

Beautiful views across the lake from our room. The spa was lovely, again with beautiful views. A really relaxing atmosphere even with them allowing children to use the pools (which was a bonus for us!) Rooms were clean and spacious. Really enjoyed our few days here.

One of the most beautiful hotels in Germany! The entire place is a small village with traditional Bavarian looks. They have a SPA that was AMAZING, pools, sauna and WHAT A VIEW! I was extremely impressed with the friendly, courteous and helpful staff, look for Mrs. yumi Rodrigues! I can’t wait to go back there! Enjoy this one! Cheers!

Nicht das Geld wert – Preis-Leistung enttäuschend Wir haben eine Nacht im Seehotel Niedernberg verbracht und ein Paket für 390 € gebucht. Leider wurde unsere Erwartung an das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis nicht erfüllt. 390 € pro Nacht sind für ein Hotel dieser Kategorie schlicht überzogen, insbesondere im Vergleich zu anderen Hotels mit ähnlichem Anspruch. Zimmer & Wellnessbereich Das Zimmer wirkte veraltet und renovierungsbedürftig – definitiv nichts, das den hohen Preis rechtfertigt. Der Wellnessbereich hat ebenfalls seine besten Zeiten hinter sich und müsste dringend modernisiert werden. Für diesen Preis hätten wir einen gehobenen Standard und mehr Komfort erwartet. Essen & Service – Die positiven Ausnahmen Positiv hervorzuheben sind das hervorragende Essen und der aufmerksame Service. Das Personal war freundlich und professionell, und die Küche bot eine wirklich gute Qualität. Leider reicht das allein nicht aus, um den hohen Preis zu rechtfertigen. Fazit Für diesen Preis erwartet man moderne, hochwertige Ausstattung und einen erstklassigen Wellnessbereich – beides hat uns enttäuscht. In vergleichbaren Hotels bekommt man deutlich mehr für sein Geld. Solange das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis nicht angepasst wird, können wir das Hotel leider nicht weiterempfehlen. ⭐⭐ 2/5 (wegen Essen & Service)
