I booked a simple confort room for one night. The room is very spacious and clean, i asked for a double bed and we got it but unfortunately they juste put two single beds next to each others. We had two different sheets and that was kinda weird but it is a detail. We have always been very well welcomed with a smile, and the place is very cozy and cute. The only thing that i didn't really appreciate is that the housekeeping did nock at least 4 times in our room in the morning from 10am until 11:30am. To see if we already left the room or not, when they should have the information from the reception if we did or check-out or not. The 3 first times it was alright we didn't mind that much, but the last time i guess it was the governess she actually came, opened the door and screamed at us in german. I felt very attacked and invaded by here attitude. It was 11:30 but we have been told we could stay until 12 if needed. Unless this displeasure i do recommande this hotel. Chloë Michiels

Excellent location opposite the cathedral and very close to the main station. I had a single room on the top floor that had a balcony with an amazing view. Only negatives were no tea or coffee making facilities in the room and the reception staff downstairs were not particularly smiley or welcoming. I hadn’t paid for breakfast in advance but they should still have mentioned it to me as an option when I checked in.

We stayed for a couple of nights at the Kameha Grand in Bonn. The location is great for walking and cycling and about 15 mins drive from the centre of Bonn on the other sider of the river. Lots of very safe cycle paths everywhere. Our junior suite was large and very comfortable. Strangely, the mini-bar was empty, but I did not find out why. The styling would not be to everyones taste, but I certainly liked it and the hotel is flooded with light. Breakfast was very good with the usual offerings. We made use of the swimming pool on the 3rd floor in the spa, which was heated and overlooks the Rhine. We found the staff to be extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgeable throughout. We used Uber to get around Bonn, although the service only recently came to Bonn and the service was a bit patchy. Be prepared to wait for longer than you would in bigger cities such as Berlin. We did not try any of the restaurants at the Kameha as we were only there for a short while. If anyone needs a recommendation, try Oscar in der Remise, about 8 minutes away by car. For travellers to Germany, bring cash as the country is still behind the times and a bit analogue. The lovely Rheinlust beer garden about 10mins drive away does not accept any form of credit cards. Some taxi drivers also struggled with electronic payment. Looking forward to returning to the Kameha

Acora - Hotel and accommodation. ” This hotel we haven't yet met ... This three-storey hotel is compared to a residence where the entire living environment consists of a family house. Here in the Acora Hotel you can make a short holiday or even stay for a longer time. Montage workers seem to live here for a longer time...We have found here only young people ... For us, the holidaymakers, stay with breakfast is offered, what has been enough for us too. A deep garage is available and costs € 4 per day. The city area where the hotel is found is called Bonn - Tannenbusch, and is about 4 kilometres from the centre of Bonn. The motorway access is not far from the hotel...There is also the metro stop Bonn-Tannenbusch. Therefore the hotel is actually centrally located. We, were satisfied with the service as it was offered here. The only lack is that there is no seat in this building complex. We were satisfied guests. Rooms, breakfast, service and the price were good. Only the missing seat was a problem for us. Three floors with baggage that was too tough for me. From there we will probably not come back ... Who doesn't care about the missing chair, will find a priced alternative to the costly accommodation prices in Bonn for a hotel in Arcora Hotel. What I felt very good was in the staircase, on both sides of the stairs and climbs, the double handle that was present at the staircase as on the wall. Young people may not appreciate that we a little older, this device was found very useful and helpful ...

The hotel booked in Germany on the last night of China, although this hotel is very biased, but the environment is very beautiful in the big forest, the whole hotel is relatively large, the room is more, the hotel we live in should belong to the kind of fast room, so it is not very big, but very clean and tidy, There are also some facilities, the price is not very expensive, and the breakfast is very rich, um, the service staff for breakfast is also more enthusiastic, you will also pick you up if you want an omelette, in short, it is quite satisfactory.

Ich war als Tagesgast Teilnehmer eines Seminares, daher kann ich die Übernachtungsmöglichkeitrn nicht bewerten. Das Gebäude scheint eine Generalüberholung hinter sich zu haben, es ist alles sehr neu, edel und modern. Die Dame, welche offensichtlich für unser Seminar verantwortlich war erschien außergewöhnlich freundlich und gut strukturiert. Der Tagungsraum war hell, sauber und ausreichend groß. Das Catering zu den gebuchten Pausen war lecker, abwechslungsreich und mittags/abends Büffet. Auch hier sehr lecker und viel Auswahl. Zum Abendessen erschienen genug junge Kellner. Etwas ungewollt wirkte das Lichtspiel in der großen Empfangshalle. Hell/ dunkel und final rot-orange… schwierig… Passend zu der fragwürdigen, roten Beleuchtungsfarbe teilten sich die beiden rezeptionisten kurzzeitig einen Stuhl neben- oder vielmehr aufeinander. Dies schien mir nicht sehr angemessen für diese Art etablissement. Der Abend endete in der Schönen großen Hotelbar. Hier gibt es keinen Kritikpunkt.

This Marriott is located near the river, with nie walking paths nearby. It is easy to drive to, on the outskirts of the city of Bonn, and very near a metro station. The parking garage is large and easy to navigate. There are no nearby resturants (other than the overpriced one in the hotel)....a Vapianos and one other place, named ”Different” are the next closest at about a 15-20 minute walk away and no grocery stores close enough to easily walk to. This is our second stay here and in both cases Lieferando orders took FOREVR to get to us and involved lost drivers. We saw two other guest parties having similar delivery issues this stay. The front desk staff are very friendly and professional. Check in and out went smoothly. The executive lounge is spacious and recently renovated. Food and drink offerings and service were less than most Marriotts in Germany. There are only peanuts and gummy candies during the day. Plus water (if someone has refilled it, it was empty almost as often as full), coffee and a soda fountain with Pepsi products. Evening cocktail hour adds juices, wines and beer, NO ice brought in for the sodas (we did flag someone down the first night and ask for it, it was brought about half an hour later, but the staff seem so busy we didn't feel comforatble asking again). Lounge staff never greet guests or offer any service, only come to refill food or drinks in the self serve area or bus tables from time to time. Snacks are defintely that, snacks, most Marriott lounges you can make a light meal out of the offerings, not this one (ironic given how little other meal options are nearby). The main offering was soup nightly (plus a VERY small salad and cheses selection and one meat based starter each night). The soup alternated between cauliflower or potato nightly. The gym is large and a highlight of the property. Lots of equipment and all in good shape. Housekeeping is below expectations. Our room was missed one day, dirty glasses (all placed togehter on one dresser) were never removed (there were 14 at the end of the week), lotion not refilled, etc. However the major cleaning was done, and towels were actually left to be reused when we hung them up, which was nice. There was an ice bucket in the room but the only way to get ice was to call for room service. They really need to add an ice machine to the shop area like so many other marriotts in Germany are doing. The bed was confotable and the room fairly well layed out overall. One final gripe: the TVs are enclosed in a wood frame to keep people from plugging a device into them to stream. OK, I am sure too many people damage TVs doing that, BUT this hotel also fails to offer streaming, or log in options diretcly on the TV, etc. Most any good hotel these days finds a way to let you stream your content on the in room TV and lacking that, plus the only channels available being basic German ones, really felt like somthing was missing. Overall it is more good

Very good location. Room and bed very confortable Big bathroom Breakfast with a huge choice of food

A very nice place to stay. We have combined it with a visit to Phantasialand. Car 5 min drive and running about 20/25 min. Reception was very friendly and helpful. I was clearly explained, eventually wanted to call a restaurant to book when I asked for dinner options internly. They have (gratis) small hairs you can pick up. It is certainly not worth dinner for me, but they say so too. On the corridors, free water and water with bubbles. To get other (fresh and alcoholic) drinks at a small price. You write your room number, with what you have taken from the refrigerator and with the dishing it is counted. Our room was on the first floor and it was warm! No air-conditioning, and only the window open was no option ivm muggen, flying and wespen. TV did not. WiFi did it perfectly in the room. Shower was fine and it was in the evening and in the night quiet. Breakfast was fine and for everyone whatever he wants. Parking is free.

was told after checked in that they were undergoing water piping in midnight and bo water from 11pm to 5am next morning. wish they had posted this when made the booking. other than that, it is always my favorite hotel to stay at in Cologne. location is excellent, 300 meter to central station and city center.
