Asty Hotel

We live in Paphos,Cyprus and have visited Nicosia regularly over the last 25 years . We have stayed at the Asty hotel on many occasions . The hotel is family owned and managed and nothing is too much trouble for the team. They offer an excellent buffet breakfast with fried eggs , scrambled eggs or omlettes, freshly cooked to order . Buffet includes cereals, fruit ,bacon ,sausage, potatoes , baked beans , Cyprus spinach or cheese pies, cold cuts , cheese ,olives ,jams , brown and white toast, tea and coffee. The rooms all have excellent aircon and wifi, beds are comfortable and showers work well with hot water . Most rooms have a desk and stool and those with a verandah ,have a table and chair outside. The rooms are always spotlessly clean . There is a kettle in the room , tea and coffee sachets,whilst milk for tea and coffee can be taken from the breakfast room to the bedroom. The breakfast room is always open for tea ,coffee and fruit juice . There is secure parking at the back of the hotel with hotel access from the rear , ask reception for directions and the entry code . The hotel does not usually offer lunch or dinner , but they do have a bar . They are quite happy for residents to use the hotel dinning room to eat a takeaway . There is an excellent Zorbas take away just 5 minutes walk on the same road. They offer hot Cyprus food, bakery items , filled rolls, cold drinks, barista coffee and more . I believe that the hotel has a shuttle bus to the city centre although we never used it , and they have rental bicycles . There are 2 comfortable lounges and a small meeting room for business meetings . A great friendly hotel to stay in if you are visiting Nicosia .

very convenient location, 20 minutes walk from city centre, nice very welcoming people, simple but clean room and a generous breakfast. Worth mentioning that in the breakfast room any time 24/7 there is a choice of self service coffee, soft drinks, snacks etc free of any charge. Quite an expecrience away from the usual hotel formalities yet nothing to complain about.

Me and my friend we came for one night trip to attend basketball game.We arrived to the hotel and be greated by a very friendly staff in reception.Room was clean,guaet area,friendly staff from housekeepers to breakfast serving staff.Thank you very much for this expierence even for one night stay we was pleasent surprise and happy with everything.If again gana need to stay in Nicosia sure booking this hotel no doubt.Regards from Lithuanian girls!🇱🇹❤️

Nice clean place friendly staff located in a very good area very comfortable rooms very good prices near to down town one the most comfortable hotels in Nicosia it’s not easy to find good hotels place for car parking

The best family hotel. Every one is so Nice and helpfull all the time. We needed sole help With somethings so send home, and they helped us. They Are so sweet and kind. Good rooms and aircondition. Best recommendations from us and we Will be back

Welcoming and helpful staff, the rooms were immaculate and cleaned beautifully each day. The breakfast was amazing and the location was perfect, a nice walk to the center, the buses also ran right past the hotel. I would definitely go back.

Good hotel, nice staff. Just needs some renovations. The location is good and parking is easily available. My fav hotel at this price point. Breakfast is pretty good and the breakfast staff very nice.

This family run hotel delivers a real quality product with great customer service. It’s unusual to find such a friendly and welcoming place that has genuine heart and cares for its guests like this one clearly does. After spending a month travelling around Cyprus I had the best nights sleep and most enjoyable breakfast of my whole trip. Spacious king/size room with front facing balcony and seating area with sofa/desk/fridge together with a white tiled bathroom (soft towels and toiletries were a nice bonus too). Downstairs on the ground floor are two spacious lounges including a TV room and an upstairs/mezzanine library with study area (which was well stocked with books in different languages). There’s a roof terrace for relaxing with some nice views and bike hire is available for getting out and about and making the most of what the city has to offer. The place also boasts a well-equipped fitness room/gym on the lower ground floor, which many hotels in Nicosia in other categories don’t even have. Anyway, I’m planning on staying again next time I’m in the capital, which I really hope and trust will be very soon. A highly recommended option. 5/5

Once again stayed at Asty just so friendly good location and a super breakfast and so reasonable highly recommend love going round the old town nice part of the city some interesting restaurants tavernas serving nice food
