This was a special birthday treat and it was fantastic. We have been before and were not let down yet again. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The room is boutique-style and very comfy. The dogs even get a soft bed and a packet of special duck. We said the previous time we went it was worth and Michelin star and it was delightful to sample their now Michelin-tasting menu. The wine pairings were perfect and we relished each course. The price is in line with other restaurants of this standard. We will definitely we back again!

We had a wonderful overnight stay with a fabulous dinner and breakfast. The food is just perfect! The staff are very professional and friendly. Our room was lovely. Loved the unusual shape of it. An amazing escape from the hustle and bustle of life.

Excellent accommodation with stunning views and amazing customer service. We stayed one night as our wedding night and had the pleasure of staying in one of their Standard Rooms. They knew we were staying the night after lunch, so they prepared the room early and had it ready before normal check-in time, without any extra cost. We ordered a bottle of champagne and it was waiting for us at exactly the right time when we went up to our toom. The room was beautifully decorated and cosy, with lots of little treats, bottled water and tea. It was certainly one of the nicest places we have stayed in, and service was truly outstanding. Will definitely be coming back!

If excellent quality and attention to detail is important to you then look no further than the Pentonbridge Inn. Very welcoming and friendly staff. Mega comfy bed, great shower and delicious breakfast. A real gem. We were en route to Oban driving from Guildford. The diversion from the M74 to the Pentonbridge Inn is only 10 minutes so well worth the effort. We made Oban the following day within 4 hours driving at a relaxed and comfortable speed.

My Partner and I stayed at the Inn for two nights as a special treat for my significant Birthday. The rooms are lovely and well appointed. The food was amazing and in our view it is a mystery that they do not have a Michelin Star yet. Special mention to the Crab, Beef Tartare, the Deer and the most amazing chocolate mousse that I have ever tasted - so good that I had it on both nights! The wine pairings were great and the staff were extremely knowledgeable. The staff are very friendly and nothing was too much trouble, special mention to Ross, Ellis and Alex in the Restaurant and the lovely Kirsten on Reception. The Inn is situated in a quiet valley near the Scottish Border which was perfect for us. I have so many lovely memories from our stay and look forward to visiting again in the not too distant future. Thank you to all of the staff at the Inn who helped make my Birthday treat so very special.
