Hotels Near VIGNES in Nice

We arrived slightly early but they let us in a room that had been finished. It was the room just at the top of the first flight of stairs after the reception it was ok clean and small, the bathroom was tiny and the toilet you had to sit on sideways, I think it was put in wrong and it also had hot water, the cistern was warm. The breakfast was ok not brilliant but we managed to have a couple of things. But we weren't staying all day in the hotel so it was fine for location and price, I found it funny to be given ear plugs but it was noisy, especially when the bin men came round at midnight and somebody used the old lift slamming the door. also we had no fridge and no little milk sachets so I had to keep going down for milk if I wanted a brew, thankfully we took our own coffee etc.

We have had an amazing stay. The staff is very friendly and extremely helpful. I was contacted a couple of days prior to our stay, because there was an issue with the payment. This mistake was completely my fault, but the hotel was very helpful and nice and we solved it in the end. When we arrived we were so fortunate to have been upgraded, despite the hassle I brought to the hotel, with the payment error. The room was amazing, and clean, and when we checked out we received a little parting gift of lavender in a pouch. The hotel is very centrally located, and I would definitely visit again! Stylish contemporary lobby, restaurants and rooms. Good location with old town area five minute walk through park and plazas- a dozen glorious churches, great French linen and fabric store L’Epingle a Linge here. Many chic clothing stores nearby- not just Gucci etc, but small, local with exciting window displays. Pretty parks and gardens nearby. Hotel rooms have very large decks with comfortable teak furniture and great views even from rooms on side. Pick up fabulous bread, sandwiches, pastries and desserts from Armand patisserie that is two blocks away for lunch on your deck. This is a good alternative to 20 Euro/person poor lunches in area. Almost all restaurants in the area are touristy so have poor food and are expensive, but there are half a dozen Michelin restaurants within a ten minute walk that are affordable unlike Paris at 200 Euros. (Peixes, Chez Davia, Le Canailes, Fine Gueule...) This is a busy hotel that many tour companies use so there were busses constantly unloading people for the four days we were there. The front desk staff are always busy checking in guests and at check in made no eye contact and just said ”passports”, passed a paper to us to sign then said the room number. When we asked for advice twice (should we take a taxi or bus to the train station and would Monaco or Cannes be better for a day trip) the staff were dismissive and not interested in providing advice. People we talked to sitting around the bar at the end of the day said they could not get recommendations for restaurants from front desk staff. On busy oceanfront promenade with many cars but rooms are soundproofed well.

My partner and i were there for 2 days. The location is very good. Other than this the hotel has very basic amenities, the hotel rooms are small and not in good condition. The shower is over the bath and the space is small. An old style of shower. There is no room service to order meals to your room so you have to be out to get something to eat. Upon arrival i asked the girl at the reception desk to freeze my icepack for my medication. When we checked out she gave me a completey thawed and soft icepack. When i asked her why it wasn't frozen, she literally just shrugged her shoulders and said she doesn't know. She didn't care that i was travelling with medication and that i had carefully explained to her when we checked in why i needed the icepack frozen. She didn't apologise either, was completely non-chalant despite the fact that i was clearly upset and anxious about my meds that i had to take on a flight with me. Her colleague then offered to run to the pharmacy to buy me a icepack. We expected a better quality stay and a better hotel experience but we were dissapointed. I would not recommend this hotel especially to older couples. We would rather pay more for a more comfortable stay. Tanya G South Africa

本來定了一個豪華大床房 結果拿到的房間除了沙發外和圖片上可以説完全沒關係！和酒店交涉堅持説就是這個房型 因為有沙發…我是看中這個房型是個轉角房 而不是沙發 酒店給的房間就是標間里加了沙發而已 顯得房間更小 另一邊過道根本很難走過去 可參考我圖片 而圖片裏的落地玻璃窗也是沒有的…後來攜程也一起進行交涉換了另一間沒有沙發但是有城市景觀房. 酒店還是有一點裝修味道的 特別是走廊，房間設計很現代但質量很拉垮 我房間門框都是壞的 洗臉盆的熱水衹有早上才有熱水 其他時間段永遠開不熱 唯一優點是就在火車站隔壁去其他小鎮非常方便

Don’t stay at this hotel if you want to get some rest. There is a restaurant downstairs so people will be coming after midnight and talking loudly. You will be hearing cars throughout the night. In terms of cleanliness it was ok. The room was a bit small. Not the worst place to stay for the price. Just a bit loud.

The rooms in this hotel were clean and the bed large and comfortable, our shower was either freezing or scalding, we couldn’t get the temperature right at all and we had no shower gel, which admittedly we didn’t ask to get filled as we thought the cleaning staff would check it. The decor is a bit dated throughout the hotel which could really do with brightening up a bit. The breakfast room particularly was very tired and brown, we would have liked to have eaten outside but the small garden area seemed to only cater for smokers. We took our coffee outside a couple of mornings and the tables were dirty and the ashtrays full from the night before. The pool area is lovely with amazing views but loungers are reserved very early and are limited in number, several times we went for a swim after a long hot day around 4pm and there was nothing available except seats set up for dining. The pool was a good temperature and lovely to swim in, if a bit small. There was an apparently new system in place for pool towels and we hadn’t been given tokens on check in. We weren’t asked for them the first day and got towels no problem, the second day the staff refused to give us towels despite us having our room keys with us. We had to go all the way to reception to get them and then we overheard other people getting them without tokens - so the system doesn’t work very well! I asked reception if my daughter who was staying in Nice could join us one day at the pool and was happy to pay a fee for this. I was given a very blunt no in answer to this question by a rude receptionist, the rest of the reception staff were very polite. I understand this may not have been possible but a polite no would have been preferred. When we were waiting to leave we heard several people complaining loudly they couldn’t get into their rooms and were being told check in is ‘From’ 3pm and not ‘At’ 3pm so beware of this, some people waited an hour to get into their rooms. We stayed in 3 different hotels in France and this was our most expensive and least favourite.

We had booked this hotel for a concert. Excellent choice : close to the stadium , close to the tram to go to the center before the concert , close to the convenience (broadcake , bank etc) parking (free)is a real more The room was very comfortable and the room was very comfortable. I recommend this place and one thing is safe , we will come back if he has a good concert at the Allianz !

I am currently staying a that the Holiday Inn Nice in order to make an early flight tomorrow. I chose this location for one night only for the convenience to the airport. However, as a self-proclaimed 4-star resort, I am very, very disappointed. I arrived at 1430 (check in is at 1500) and was told my room was not ready. Fine, I am early. I am happy to wait for 30 minutes. The front desk agent told me he would call me when it’s ready if I wanted to enjoy the area. I agreed. However, at 1600, no call so I decided to walk back. As I enter I see the agent leaving the hotel in street clothes—no call. I asked the new agent about my room and he had no idea he was to call me. He called housekeeping to verify if my room was ready and again, STILL not ready! I was asked to wait in the lobby until it was ready. If check in is at 1500, the room should be ready at 1500. I received no apology for their error. I reserved a Premium Queen Seaview at a cost of 400 Euros/night. The room is frankly gross. There are long hairs in the shower (I’m bald—not me!), mold growing around the tub, stains on the walls, and stains on the furnishings. I wish I could find a more profound way of describing the hotel other than gross, but I cannot. See my attached photos of the actual room. The lobby is deceiving. You walk into a remodeled, modern space and think , “nice, this will be a good stay.” But beware, as soon as you enter your room, it all goes downhill. Not only is the room gross, but there is not a coffee maker in the room, the shower products are empty, and they do not provide any lotion. Additionally for a 4-star resort, I would expect something more than paper cups in the room (glass cups and a wine opener, perhaps?). The hotel markets having a free airport shuttle. However, the shuttle does not run convenient to flight departures, so I have to pay 40 euros for a 4 minute ride to the airport. Again, disappointing. Lastly, the hotel provides free access to the Bay Star Beach Club (owned by the hotel it seems). I was excited to check out the beach on my last night in France. However, the beach club is very small with extremely dated (and dirty) furniture. Smoking was supposedly not allowed, but guests were smoking everywhere and staff did not interject. The provided towels have holes and are stained. It was very unpleasant. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel is ANYONE! There are many more hotels by the airport at 50% less cost. Avoid at all costs!
