Residence Share Inn

PROS: Very good value for the reasonable price. Excellent location. Appreciated convenience of kitchen access and coffee. Clean, quiet. Responsive to email question before arrival. Smooth check in. Room was ready early. CONS (minor): (1) Hair dryer fell and nozzle broke. I called to report it, was told someone would come, waited over an hour but no one ever came or called back. Hairdryer still worked so I didn't waste more time waiting for someone to come. (2) There was a minor scene in the kitchen when staff reprimanded some guests for leaving washed disshes in the dish drying rack instead of using the dishwasher and/or putting dishes away. For the first 4 of the 5 days I was there, I saw guests doing that every day and had no clue that it was wrong. I appreciate the requirement that guests clean up after themselves but some additional instructions, and in several languages, would help avoid misunderstanding.

This is a great Résidence. It’s not a full service hotel, it’s a simple good sized room with all the amenities and the best central location in Nice. What do you share? The kitchen. Bring your own food, keep it in individual refrigerator drawers with a private key, cook it up in the communal kitchen, rinse the dishes, and enjoy the city. Extra towels and housekeeping costs extra, but the price is the best in town. And for manager Jonathan Gaie and say Vida and Frank recommended the Share Inn, Nice

This property needs a full renovation, it is shabby and outdated. The bathrooms have cracked tiles on the floor and mould on the walls. If you want fresh towels or bed linen there is a separate charge. Everything in our room felt damp and smelt bad in the end thanks to a very helpful staff member we changed rooms. The new rooms ceiling was so low my husband had to crouch to use the shower and it was just as outdated and shabby as the first. The location is good but would not recommend staying here.

If you want a reasonable (for Nice!) clean, extremely central hotel in Nice, this is it. Don’t be fooled by paying higher 3 star prices - you won’t get any better service. Additionally, I recently made a future reservation but accidentally booked pay now rather than free cancellation. For personal reasons I sometimes have to cancel bookings. When I realised my error, I contacted Share Inn and explained my circumstances. They refunded me without question. Highly recommended.

Super hotel. Excellent staff and a coffee machine! My room was spotless and much bigger than I was expecting. Shower, bedding, view from the window could hardly be better. Location is close to restaurants (mostly tourist fare by hey, Nice is a resort I guess) and easy access to and from buses and tram lines. I was in my room less than half an hour after leaving Nice airport, and that despite jumbling up the four digit code enter to the premises.

This was my second stay at this hotel, the first being several years ago. I was in Nice visiting friends. I really like this hotel. A very central location, handy for everything. The room was good, and bed comfortable. I like the open kitchen arrangements, where you can use the kitchen facilities for cooking etc, and even have the use of your own personal fridge. And all at a reasonable price. Definitely recommended.
