Maison Lamartine is a find. Building has a lovely garden, cozy living room in the lobby, and my apartment was clean, with good size rooms, and fully equipped kitchen with plates, cups, utensils, pots/pans. Staff is the sweetest. Every member of this staff was helpful and thoughtful throughout my stay. My only gripe was the few steps from street to lobby, but staff helped me with my luggage. There is an elevator in the building. Small, but clean and size could fit my 2 carry-on and checked luggage’s. Location is close to trams 1&2, train station, and shopping ***** on Jean Medecin — Nice Etoile shopping mall is pretty.

We stayed at this hotel in Nice during the National Day holiday. The public areas were very French and warm, the front desk and service staff were very friendly and considerate, and the breakfast was very rich, leaving us with good memories. The downside is that it is a little far from the core area (old town), about 20 minutes' walk, and it takes about 20 minutes to get to the subway line to the airport.
