Excellent facilities, with all the amenities for a relaxing vacation. The beach is very nice, but you need to be careful of jellyfish. We were warmly welcomed by the entire staff, who were always kind and eager to please us in every situation.

Our family’s stay at the Nha Trang Marriott Resort & Spa on Hon Tre Island was a blend of breathtaking natural beauty, luxurious accommodations, and a few areas needing improvement. The island itself is a tropical paradise—picture serene, crystal-clear seas teeming with vibrant marine life, coconut palms heavy with fruit, and lush groves of mangoes and bananas. The air is perfumed with the scent of exotic flowers from the island’s diverse trees, creating a serene backdrop that feels like stepping into a postcard. The resort itself is visually stunning, offering a range of accommodations to suit different needs. The villas are a highlight, with spacious double, triple, and quadruple bedroom options, many featuring private pools that elevate the luxury experience. The main building offers a variety of well-appointed rooms with modern amenities, catering to couples, families, or solo travelers. The expansive beach, paired with jaw-dropping sea views, is a standout feature, perfect for soaking in the tranquility or enjoying water activities. Dining at the resort is a delight, with a wide array of options to satisfy every palate, including thoughtfully prepared halal dishes. Whether you’re craving local Vietnamese flavors or international cuisine, there’s something for everyone. However, the “Sands” restaurant had a notable downside: the far corner, where dirty dishes are collected near the coffee machines and Vietnamese coffee station, was unpleasantly odorous, with dirty walls and shelves that detracted from the otherwise pleasant dining experience. Management should address this promptly to maintain the resort’s high standards. Service was generally acceptable, but there’s room for improvement. While some staff members, like the exceptional Lisa at reception, were superheroes—quickly resolving issues with clarity and professionalism—others seemed undertrained. The guest relations team, in particular, could benefit from better selection and training to match the resort’s luxury positioning. Housekeeping was a mixed bag; we observed some staff working diligently, but the cleaning quality in our villa was inconsistent, with noticeable lapses that left us disappointed. Facility-wise, the resort’s infrastructure needs attention. Shower heads and bathroom faucets were subpar, and poor drainage in the showers caused water to pool, which was frustrating. Additionally, the beach, while stunning, was littered to a surprising degree—comparable to a public beaches like Miami’s. Given the resort’s emphasis on nature, we were surprised by the lack of regular beach cleaning. I recommend management invest in sand-cleaning machines and implement a routine maintenance schedule, perhaps every two weeks, to preserve the island’s pristine beauty. A gentle reminder to guests: please help protect this natural gem by keeping it clean! Overall, the Nha Trang Marriott Resort & Spa offers a luxurious escape in a breathtaking setting, with diverse accommodations and dining options. However, management must address staff training, facility maintenance, and beach cleanliness to fully match the resort’s potential. We’d return for the stunning views and Liza’s stellar service, but we hope to see improvements for an even better experience.

Our stay at Nha Trang Marriott Resort & Spa, Hon Tre Island was truly unforgettable. The resort is located on a private island, offering complete seclusion and tranquility. Reaching the island by boat transfer felt like entering a luxurious retreat far from the busy city. The natural surroundings are stunning — lush greenery, white-sand beaches, and endless ocean views. Our room was spacious, immaculately clean, and beautifully decorated with a modern tropical design. We were given an ocean-view room — waking up to the sunrise over the sea was simply magical. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the bathroom was well-appointed with both a bathtub and walk-in rain shower. Daily housekeeping was flawless. The resort grounds are expansive and beautifully landscaped with palm-lined walkways, multiple pools including an amazing infinity pool, and quiet seating areas under the trees. The private beach is pristine, with soft sand and calm, turquoise waters perfect for swimming. Dining at the hotel was a delight. The breakfast buffet was among the best I’ve experienced — offering a wide variety of fresh fruits, juices, Western and Asian dishes, pastries, and even live cooking stations. Dinners featured fresh seafood and authentic Vietnamese cuisine, served in an elegant beachfront setting. The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful, always smiling and ready to assist. We were even given complimentary spa vouchers and transport discounts. Their attention to detail made the entire stay feel special. This is the ideal destination for couples or families seeking relaxation, luxury, and nature. We left feeling completely refreshed and would return without hesitation. Highly recommended!

We checked in at the main terminal, however, one of our luggage was not right, it was misplaced with someone’s luggage. However, the view and food were great .

We ate on the first day at the hotel, at the ala kart restaurant. One spring roll dish was infected with an intestinal infection. My husband ate a lot, but he gave me 1 roll. Hell broke loose in the evening. We went to the hospital, for $ 300 for 1 night, ivs, vomiting and diarrhea many times, then it started and I was already there, a pregnant woman had an intestinal infection and another $ 300, we were prescribed antibiotics. My husband's tests are terrible, and I'm a little better, but my temperature is. We drank antibiotics, stayed in the hotel, one day we went to lie down under an umbrella, as a result we burned up and we had a burn of the whole body, the temperature, we left the remaining days to lie in the room with poisoning and a burn from antibiotics. I asked the manager to refund us the $35 for the restaurant. And for missing breakfast. I'm silent about compensation, treatment and ruined vacation. Do you know what they told me? The shame of the Marriott network. That they called the doctor and he said that my husband has chronic COLITIS, and I have another disease. And it has nothing to do with them. Ew and ew again. It's so ridiculous to lie. To invent something that doesn't exist. They don't care that our vacation was ruined. They make up excuses for themselves. About the hotel: it's beautiful, the sea is not as clean as we would like, everything is clean, but the hotel already looks tired inside the room.
