A paradise!Staff feel like family!The environment is a paradise,the food is so fresh!I ate fresh garden produce!The grass and the lake just unreal, the swimming pool so clean,but it could use a heater!My kids want to go back,please stock swimming gears we can buy! The cottage felt extremely comfortable and clean! Simply EXCELLENT! Will visit again for a longer stay! Just wow 🤩

Our stay at The Retreat at Ngorongoro was nothing short of extraordinary! From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the stunning views, the serene atmosphere, and the warm hospitality. The accommodation was impeccable—beautifully designed, spacious, and incredibly comfortable. Every detail, from the luxurious bedding to the thoughtful amenities, was perfect. We can’t recommend The Retreat at Ngorongoro enough! It’s a slice of paradise and the perfect blend of luxury and nature. We’ll cherish the memories we made here and can’t wait to return.

We stayed at The Retreat at Ngorongoro one night between Tarangire and Ngorongoro national park game drives. Fabulous and magical place. We had two accommodations side by side. Both were huge and cozy with fireplaces and massive beds. We were sorry only for spending there so little time.

Very nice property. Rooms were very large. Nice pool. We used it as a base to visit Ngorongoro Crater. There are a lot of lodges located in this area...near the village of Karatu. It is a great place to stay but it's nearly two areas to the entrance of Ngorongoro. If it works for your budget...Nogorongoro Crater Lodge is the place to stay. Food on the buffet was average but the staff would doing anything to accommodate any special food requests. Special thanks to Judith for amazing and personal service.

Beautiful and peaceful hotel with lovely food, stunning settings with a big pool. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. We only staid one night but we hope to come back soon to stay longer here. Highly recommend it if you are visiting Crater Ngoronro.

Beautiful retreat, very comfortable and wonderful staff. The room was large, bathroom very clean and large too. The staff thought of very little detail for us. We were sad to leave but would come back again. Food was also very good and we left very happy.

The Retreat was easily the most luxurious of our stays in Tanzania during our safaris. This place is filled with a lot of flora and attentive staff. The villa rooms are big and comfortable. The chef was personally invested in making our menu choices and my wife loved the garden tour.

From the moment we stepped in the staff at The Retreat Ngorongoro were incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. The rooms were spotless,comfortable and beautiful..breakfast to dinner buffet were delicious.....Our kids enjoyed in the kids play room.....in short! We had soo much fun
