Muri Shores

Muri Shores is in a stunning setting. There are no staff permanently on site but when they were there they were very friendly and helpful. The room was also lovely with everything you need. Close to shops, cafes/bars/restaurants. Highly recommend this place.

What a wonderful location to sooth the soul. Muri Shores provided the perfect getaway for R&R. Our accommodation was spacious, clean and had that Polynesian atmosphere overlooking soft sandy beaches and endless blue waters. It was one of the few accommodations in the area that provided beach and water so close to your doorstep. They also provided kayaks and mountain bikes for those who wanted to explore. It was also easy walk to shops and restaurants in the area. Thank you for our stay, highly recommended.

The friendly staff at Muri Shores made my holiday one of the best ever. Welcoming fruit & breakfast when I arrived. Right next door to Muri night market. Very clean room. Excellent vicinity to beach cafes & other resorts. I totally recommend Muri Shores for a fun filled holiday!

You really cannot get better in Rarotonga, a truely stunning location - steps to the water on the very best part of Miri Beach. Even got to swim daily with the turtles that were literally just a few meters out in front of the accommodation. Excellent facilities - even a kitchen. Restaurant’s & everything else extremely close. The entire booking process was seem less & staff could not have been any more helpful & attentive. I do also recommend booking a rental car via Miri Shores as they have their own cars & picking the car up & dropping off at the airport on arrival was a breeze. Thanks Miri Shores - we will 100% be back.

What an amazing spot! If you are after a quiet getaway right on the beach, with a magnitude of eateries close by and muri night markets right at the back door, look no further! The owners were amazing and easy to deal with. The villas were immaculate and the views were impeccable. Plenty of activities to do close by also!

From booking right through to departure we couldn't fault Muri Shores. Owners, staff, villa, cleanliness, helpfulness, location, vehicle, Wi-Fi free in-house, air conditioning - everything you could want. Authentic but modern. So good we are only two days back home and have already booked again for April 2025!! 200% recommend this place if you are either a novice to Rarotonga, or a repeat traveler to this wonderful island. We recently travelled to Raro and stayed at Muri Shores. The villa was exactly the same as the photos. Our Villa was right on the beach. It was clean and tidy on arrival and even had fruit and breakfast supplied for our first couple of days. The hosts were fantastic and went out of their way to accommodate us. They returned all our queries quickly and efficiently. We would highly recommend staying here. The location is also great, close to restaurants and other resorts. The beach was clean and tidy. We even saw a turtle while out swimming right outside our Villa. The bed was large and comfortable. We would definitely stay at Muri Shores again if we travelled to Raro again.

Muri Shores was the perfect location for us. It felt like being in paradise. The villa was exactly what we were looking for and the beach and water like a dream. We had kayaks, bicycles, perfect support for all upcoming questions. The nightmarket was very close, other places to eat and drink as well. The bus stop also was close. We can definitely fully recommend this place and thank Krystina and Eugene very much for creating such a wonderful accomodation.

What more could you ask for. We were 4 couples who had a front villa each. We were in our own private paradise walking out onto a beautiful beach. Krystina and her team bent over backwards, nothing was to big or to small to make your stay one to remember which I thank you for. Although we planned to cook a couple evening meals this was not necessary as night market and Sailing Club restaurant next door were available. If I knew what I do now would have arranged the nights that the Muri food markets were open to purchase from them, beautiful Meals with lots of variety and right behind accommodation so you could eat there or take it back to your villa. Used busses for few day's which stopped at the end of our entrance before renting a car from across the road great service. If you are looking for self catering accommodation then this is the one, I was nervous about my choice as first time to Rarotonga and was organizing this for group of 8 but my decision was definitely the right one and hopefully we will be back.
