By daughter and I had an amazing week staying here for our first visit to Rarotonga. Unit had everything we needed, grounds were immaculate and hosts were so friendly, thoughtful and helpful. Location close to Muri was great but it was also helpful having a car for our stay so we could explore the whole island. Would definitely stay again.

Plus 5 . Recomend everyone when arrive in Rarotonga. Simone , Denise and Yimmy - great family. I was in Onu apartment which was clean , have everything you need for wonderful stay . None mistake . Hope to cime back again when the weather will be with more sun .

Great apartment accommodation that's not in a resort complex. Very quiet location about 500mtr from the main road and Muri Beach. Situated on the edge of the forest with views over the lagoon. The unit has all you need and clean laundry every fourth day depending on your length of stay. 5 minute walk to shops and Muri restaurants. Easy access to all of Rarotonga. Common use of pool and BBQ area. Facility has a private rental car available and provides airport transfers, both at additional cost.

Amazing communication and very helpful information in the lead-up to our stay. We experienced an unfortunate situation which meant we couldn't fly to Rarotonga and had to cancel our trip on the day of flying. We were gutted, however Simon and Denise were so caring and understanding of our situation. For that, we were so grateful as it made a bad situation slightly better. We're looking forward to visiting Muri Retreat Apartments in future. Thank you for your kindness!

The location was ideal for accessing different parts of the island. A quiet part of the lagoon was a 5 minute walk down the hill (you do have to walk back up the hill). Super close to the night markets and convenience stores including a great fish shop. Easy enough to get on and off the bus at the base of the hill. Simon and Denise went out of their way in every way to make sure we had the best time and were very informative helping us find our way around the island and learn more along the way, but were also happy to leave us be and explore ourselves. Couldn’t fault them or the apartment. Added bonus was the beautiful view from the top balcony.

Amazing group of four apartments with dip pool with great views over the coast from the hill. Simon and Denise has done a first class job to genuinely create a modern yet relaxed home from home, incredibly well equipped and comfortable. Gaze out across the island from your balcony or bed at sunrise. Truly impressive!

Stayed here for our honeymoon and birthday celebrations . What an absolute gem - Thank you Simon and Denise for making our stay special. This place is secluded but also close enough as a great location. Close to shops and restaurants - plan ahead in the off season as lots of them will close early / stay closed. Beach and lagoon - great for snorkeling - about 10 mins walk away. Take swimming shoes if you wish to swim out as corals can be sharp. Thank you Simon and Denise for kindly letting us borrow some snorkels. We loved the warm welcome at the airport and the flower garlands - what a way to kick start our time on this beautiful island! Lovely home-like touches like flowers and lovely paintings. We were treated to fresh fruit and biscuits. Milk in the fridge came in useful. Our room was airy, spacious and had a large balcony to watch the beautiful sunrises from. We enjoyed the large TV with pre-loaded films - which had an excellent collection of many genres. We found the welcome packs and informative emails useful to find our bearings around the island. Communication with our hosts was easy. We loved how hospitable and warm Simon and Denise were. Honestly had the best time - can’t wait to be back again as you've made us fall in love with this beautiful island. Keep up the good work guys and see you soon!

Wow!! We felt like our second home in Rarotonga! Host Simon and Hostess Denise are so friendly and sweet!! Even their dog Jimmy!! We definitely back again!! Because of Muri Retreat!! So grateful and thankful!! Location wise PERFECT!! Everything is so handy and close!! We both highly recommend to anyone who wants to stay in Rarotonga! Then should consider first!! Thanks Sue

A relaxing and quiet space (if you don't count the roosters haha). Super clean and tidy with all the basic needs. Friendly and always helpful hosts. Easy to contact as needed. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a bit of a retreat - book directly :-)
