Rumours Luxury Villas and Spa is rated number one among 5 star options on Rarotonga year after year for a reason. It is excellent on all fronts. The accommodations are excellent, the service is excellent, and the location is excellent. We stayed in the Beachfront Platinum Villa for a week over Christmas/New Year of 2023/24. The Villa itself is amazing with a spacious main living area and Kitchen, two ocean facing primary bedrooms with beautifully designed bathrooms, a private pool and jacuzzi, and I believe what had to be largest private deck closest to the ocean in the Muri Beach area. This deck is where we spent every morning drinking coffee, and in the evening watching the sunset, and later staring at the amazing stars on display. Everything about this villa was superb. The staff were also amazing, including Toni and John who were always very helpful and friendly with lots of tips and advice, as were the rest of the staff! The experience was so good we are going back the end of next month and are staying in the same Villa. The fact that we are returning for a second trip says a lot, as does the fact that I am writing this review, which I don't often do. If you are going to Rarotonga, choose Rumors, and if the Platinum Villa is available, I would highly recommend you choose it. Fantastic location and villa. Staff were great and nothing was too much trouble for Toni. Her recommendations for activities and restaurants were excellent. One of the most relaxing holidays we have ever had and would fully recommend staying at Rumours.

Such a beautiful place & lovely location, we stayed at multiple places during our vacation and no-one stood up the service we receive at Rumours! Toni was most helpful & the room service was 100% so clean , villa was well stocked & anything we asked for was not a problem, I highly recommend staying at Rumours! I must not forget to mention the 2 bedroom villa we had was to die for, a gorgeous private little sanctuary for us! we will be back!!

I have just returned from a Holiday in Raratonga with my Son and Granddaughter. We stayed at Reflections and found it perfect in every aspect; decor, pool, and beach view. Reflections is literally beachfront, with steps down from your deck straight onto the beach. Toni was helpful and obliging in every way. Unbelievably, she remembered me from my stay a few years ago when I stayed at Rumours ( also an amazing property) On your next trip to Raratonga I highly recommend Reflections. I have just returned from a five-night stay, which was the best accommodation and friendly, helpful service I have ever experienced in my wold-wide travels. Wanting solitude, with the option to explore from a location close to amenities etc, Rumours Luxury Villas and Spa ticked every box. Toni and staff were truly amazing. Kia Orana Toni and Team Dave and I wanted to send you a huge thank you for making the first week of our holiday so absolutely fabulous. To begin with from the moment we stepped off the plane and John was waiting for us with a huge, hilarious welcome we knew we should have stayed longer. The welcome from yourself as we entered our amazing villa, with your totally relaxed demeanour when we were stressing about our banking issue we are so thankful. Our Villa was totally special and all the small touches that you were be able arrange for us were perfect, with the beer and cool drink in the fridge, the basket of goodies and ofcourse the bookings you made for us were fantastic, thank you. Your housekeeping staff were also so friendly, and our room was always perfectly clean. And also the lovely breakfast. The whole stay was perfect, and we thank you so much🌺🌺🌺
