If you want to relax this is the place to stay in Rarotonga. The service is exceptional across the board - from the restaurant and reception through to housekeeping, gardening and grounds maintenance. The resort is very clean and well maintained. It deserves its 4.5 star rating. A special mention to the restaurant - one of the best dining experiences on the island, and the staff are incredibly friendly and attentive. Big shout out to Janet, Justin, Kalesi, Rho and Hanna for looking after us so well. In terms of our accommodation - clean, private spacious with our own dipping pool and plenty of outdoor seating.

We stayed at Nautilus’s sister resort next door - Muri Beach Resort (as it suited our budget better). We included the breakfast package so went to the Nautilus each morning via the beautifully manicured gardens or along the beach. I was especially treated to the wait staff singing happy birthday and presenting me with a sweet treat plate to celebrate my 60th… so sweet and made our dinner that night even more memorable. We loved seeing Dewy, the resident dog, each day. The kind, thoughtful, professional staff at the Nautilus were the stars - special mention to Janet, Ingri, Rho, Komang. We also had an amazing visit to the spa for a very special experience including massage and facials for two. Until next time … thank you for a wonderfully relaxing holiday 10/10

We stayed next door at the Muri Beach Resort, they share the same staff with The Nautilus. Also we came over every day for breakfast which was included in our stay. Staff were fantastic, especially Janet and Justine who greeted us every morning. Remembering our name and room no.

What a superb location and all the hotel facilities were excellent. Our beachside villa was perfect and had access straight onto the idyllic Muri atoll for swimming, kayaking and snorkeling. Special thanks to the resort team particularly Janet, Justin, Ingri, Ketut for welcoming us each day with big smiles. Just one thought - it would be nice if the evening menu could change occasionally for those staying over a few days.

The best place I’ve ever stayed!!! The staff were the friendliest and most welcoming people we’ve ever met, Janet, Justine and Ketut were three of the lovely staff members who greeted us every morning for breakfast and made our day!! The kindness they showed was infectious and it made us love our stay even more!! Komang and Indri at the beach bar and nautilus dinner service were another two individuals who made every evening feel special, with 5 star service and inclusive conversation they made us feel at home. Komang is for sure one of the best bartenders on the island and Indri one of the best waitresses.

Loved it! The resort is beautiful. Our room was gorgeous. Beachfront with a pool. The restaurant was good. Breakfast was great and always served with a smile. The staff were friendly and always eager to help. I would definitely return. We loved Dewey the resort dog. We sent him a care package when we got home. Hope he got it.

This was our third stay there and the resort itself is lovely, rooms are a great size, clean and well equipped, however the bed not as comfortable as last time. Staff are super friendly and helpful, however the service wasn't as good, definite improvements required there - if you were sitting poolside or in the restaurant for drinks or nibbles you would have to go the bar or wave someone down to be served, not what you expect when staying at a 4-5 star resort. Food was good, location is perfect not only for the beach aspect but also other eating venues which are all within easy walking distance.

My daughter and I stayed at Nautilus Resort in early December 2024 in the beach front accommodation. The room was great, the bathroom was enormous, the private plunge pool was awesome, the seafood pasta was like no other, and the resort definitely has the best location on the island. My daughter said it was her best holiday ever; she didn't want to leave. We look forward to returning to Cook Islands and Nautilus Resort.
