As we went there after the rain in a green season, we didn't see any leopards. They might have come around our tents, but we couldn't see them. However the lodge was very welcoming: we arrived late but they organised a sunset game drive, they offered us pick up and drop off between the bus stop, and so on. The tent was spacious and cozy. The dinner was interesting as we ate bone marrow! We had a great time there. Thank you so much.

The lodge is situated close to the Nxai Pan and Makgadigadi National Parks, which are both absolutely worth a visit. The staff is warm and welcoming, the tents are good, with very comfortable beds, and the food is great! Our guide, David, was excellent.

It was totally our fault but we arrived late due to 'quick' self-drive in Makgadikgadi taking way longer than expected! Luckily the staff waited for us to serve dinner immediately on arrival. And baked me a huge birthday cake and sing Happy Birthday! Tent was great but we didn't see it in daylight until the next morning! Loved the resident Oryx! A bit pricey though...

What an absolutely fabulous place. I booked Leopard Plains as a birthday surprise for my boyfriend at the end of September 2023 and he and I were blown away with everything. The rooms (gorgeous), the staff (lovely and friendly), the food (delish), the grounds (amazing and full of animals), the activities, etc. Exceptional. They even made my boyfriend a cake, and sang him happy birthday! :) We both could not recommend this place more and would 110% go back if we ever go back to Botswana. My boyfriend and I are both very into wildlife, and I in particular to birds. There was a water hole viewable from our room, where we could see impala, kudo, zebra and all sorts of bird life going to drink. We even saw a Spotted Eagle Owl! I would recommend the Makgadikgadi National Park day excursion and the sundowner game drive on the grounds. Loved the firepit area, where you could sit at night and look at the beautiful skies. It was a place where you could easily relax but also which could offer you different optional activities to keep you busy (if that's what you wanted). Thank you to everyone at Leopard Plains, you provided a perfect ending to our wonderful Botswana holiday.

We stayed at Leopard Plains in June 2022, only now getting round to writing this review due to life getting in the way! We spent 3 nights in one of the safari tents, it was very clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly, warm and welcoming. Food was freshly cooked and delicious. We had a day just chilling at our tent, watching Kudu and Impala walking to the waterhole not far away. We also went on the trip to Nxai Pan and Baines Baobabs. We really enjoyed our trip to the Baobabs, it was quite a long day but so worth it.

We were the only guests at this small lodge when we were there, but the staff did not skimp! It's a lovely property with a beautiful dining/bar/pool area, and spacious and beautiful sleeping tents. Very relaxing and a lovely place to just sit in the peace and quiet and watch the animals at the watering hole by the pool. But by far the best part of the lodge is the bartender/chef/manager Kabelo. Kabelo completely made our stay -- she was warm, helpful, and served us a spectacular, private four course dinner by lantern-light, while pointing out the visiting zebras. She's worth her weight in gold and we hope the owners know what a credit she is to the property!

Nice rooms, nice property. Staff at the restaurant is really nice too. Unfortunately, when I asked at the end of our 1st visit to have another room for our 2nd visit three days later, the owner himself and the general waitress laughed openly at me about the reason. It was very humiliating, and not what you'd expect from a service of this standing.

We liked everything at Leopard Plains! The tents are spacious and suitable for 4 persons, good beds and shouwer/toilet. You will see groups of impala, zebra and kudu in front at the plain. Kabelo and her team did great! The food was also very tasty, breakfast and diner.
