Stayed one evening mainly as a base to explore a different area south of Glasgow. Had a late lunch at the adjoining beefeater before checking in around 3. Had a lovely stay thanks to the very accommodating lady who checked us in and gave us a room with a bath and a few extra little treats. Much appreciated . The room was newly renovated in the evolution style so felt very fresh. The bathroom was lovely with a great size bath and nice purple glow night light. The only thing I didn’t particularly like is the mirror/ hairdryer area. If you sit on a chair your vision is smack bang level with the mirror lighting so you really have to stand. I also thought the surrounding area would be a bit more walkable to shops etc. A car is really needed to go anywhere.

Overall excellent standards as usual just a shame that on arrival in my room it was roasting. Curtains left open, air con not on. Issues with air con which I reported to reception when leaving. It didn’t hugely impact my stay but previous stay on hot day, the curtains were closed on arrival and air con on. Would still stay again as the standard and price are excellent.

I stayed for 3 days and requested at reception to clean the room daily. The cleaning person tidied up bedsheets and the bathroom and other stuff was uncleaned. That was only for one day but the rest of my stay no one turned up for cleaning. I took all pics though I found a spider in the bathroom and took a picture as well and showed it to the receptionist. No action had been taken.

The air conditioning needs a major review since there are no opening windows . The control panel only goes down to 19 but the room temperature feels much higher. It was very difficult to sleep even without the duvet.

Extremely disappointing. Room clean. Sadly, receptionist and restaurant staff could not care less. Have stayed in many Premier Inns all over the country: this is the first time I have been confronted by this lack of client service. Would not stay here again due to staff attitude. One night stay, night of 5 May 2024.

Stayed here for a gig in town. Very clean hotel and with the new upgraded rooms - lots of sockets and USB points in the room. Only down side is there are no longer any desks with a nearby socket for business users.

Comfortable room and amazing bed. Very quiet. Excellent value for money. Wi-fi was not working properly and we didn’t have a signal at the hotel but apart from that it was all really good.

This is quite simply the nicest Premier Inn I have ever stayed in. The room was really nice, spacious and the best was very comfortable. En-suite was well decorated with a large walk in shower. Breakfast was also very good and is a great thing if you have kids as 2 kids eat free per 1 paying adult. Can’t recommend this hotel enough as it is great value for money.
