DON'T STAY at Coratel Inn & Suites by Jasper Newton IF YOU ARE A PET OWNER OR HAVE AN OUNCE OF CLASS. Pet owners are relegated to a handful of rooms at the end of one hall, sandwiched between two sets of doors that have CONSTANT INGRESS/EGRESS. The MILDEW/BASEMENT STENCH in rooms, hallways, lobby, and breakfast area makes a guest nauseated, causes headaches, and inhibits sleep. If your dog has allergies, he or she may sneeze and cough throughout the stay—ours did. It was painful to witness. We had to try three rooms before realizing, It doesn’t get better than this. And the manger-on-duty, after sniffing, said, "I don’t know; it must be me. I don't smell anything." This same manager told us that the owners “REMOVED CARPETS and BED FRAMES in the rooms pet owners are allowed to stay in because we had constant issues with flees.” He went on to say, they “ripped out the carpets, pulled out the under-cabinets, and put in flimsier bed frames to control the issues." So, the PICTURES ADVERTISED on travel websites of the room options ARE DECEITFUL—they’re inaccurate FOR PET OWNERS. If you’re a pet owner, independent of what you selected and paid for, you’re room doesn’t look like that. Your bed has a X-Style bed spring: no box springs. It’s a mattress on a metal x-framed bed. The cheap replacement flooring in pet-owner-allowed rooms is sticky, dirty, smells of pea, and is damp and cold. We were forced to keep our socks or shoes on at all times, and would not let our dog lay on the floor. The furniture left in these unkempt rooms stinks of cat pea just like the floors. We had to get up while sitting on the couch to eat because it caused us to gag. Relatedly, we killed two roaches in the 14-hours we spent in the room. There was NO PHONE in the room. The TV was in DISREPAIR--fading into darkness and back to dimness constantly. The single COFFEE MAKER was FILTHY--mildew had collected inside it—all unusable. Two of the four OUTLETS were OUT OF ORDER. The LAMP SHADE was badly RIPPED. The CURTAINS were TORN in a half-dozen places and were falling off the bar above, where they were to latch together, due to missing hooks and eyes. Therefore couldn't close them and had to use paper clips to temporarily keep them together to prevent others from looking in while they smoking and talked loudly outside our window at all hours of the afternoon and night. On that note, the CLIENTELE was largely SOCIALLY INCONSIDERATE. From 4pm to 11pm (when I inserted earplugs to block out the noise), there were screaming babies, barking dogs, constant in-and-out to smoke, fighting in the hallway, loud talking room-to-room with doors left open. The room DOORS SLAM SHUT LOUDLY and HEAVILY. Each time (every 5-10 minutes or less for the most part), if felt like a SHOT GUN went off. If you have a heart condition, it could be physically jarring. The MANAGEMENT is obviously aware of the disastrous state of their ½-STAR (BY NO MEANS 2-STAR) Inn. They hear the constant noises. They smell the stench. They dress the room with thrift-store/charity finds for furniture, bedding, and flooring. They relegate pet owners and their pets to dungeon-like rooms. And their BREAKFAST ISN’T CONTINENTAL; it’s cereal, but NO MILK; NO JUICE; granola bars and instant oatmeal packets are all that was offered. The Coratel Inn & Suites by Jasper Newton, KS’ management and owners are fully aware of the **** show the run, and the misleading ancillary advertisements and bait-and-switch tactics they proffer, which leads me to surmise that they are DISINTERESTED in CORRECTING PROBLEMS, or giving guests an even-average 2-star motel stay. Never Again For Our Family!

The rooms wasn’t very clean the shower head didnt work right. The guest was loud pass 10:00 and the beds wasn’t comfortable everytime you moved or set down they made a loud popping noise

Electrical issues and potential fire hazards in room (you can’t put high demand appliances on a $10 extension cord), horrible bed, worst towels ever - paper thin, didn’t match, the size of baby towels!! I’ll never stay in one of these again!!!

This is obviously an older facility that has been renovated. The cleanliness was excellent. A very good value for the money. We would stay here again.

The lady at the front counter was very pleasant and nice. The hotel is disgusting. Broken down cars outside, some wrecked, and the property looks like a Beirut war zone. Not very assuring that my truck and trailer would be safe.

Very bad experience Nobody at front desk at check in trash cans are full entrance in to motel doors are wornout needs replaced massage parlor on second floor people comming in and out all night long
