Excellent service from check-in, to the waiters and bar staff, everyone was very helpful and welcoming. The room exceeded our expectations, food and drink all to the highest standard, and the locally distilled Rostrevor Ruby gin was delightful. We enjoyed using the spa facilities and walked through the grounds to nearby Slive Gullian forest park where we were lucky enough to see a red squirrel. The fairy glen was also lovely but the fairies were too shy to say hello

My daughter bought me this break for my 70th birthday. It couldn’t have been better. The location, staff and food were all amazing. We also enjoyed a taster treatment in the spa which was again just perfect. If you are looking for a quiet and relaxing break in a beautiful location with friendly staff and excellent food Killeavey Castle is the place to be

What a fantastic weekend break. From arrival at reception to checking out it was a 5 star experience. Katie at reception warmly welcomed us. She walked us to our room, explained that killeavey castle estate was dedicated to sustainability and subscribed to the UN sustainability goals. She told us where the spa was, dining room, bar and even explained how the coffee machine worked in the bedroom. Food was fantastic - my friend who was with me has a number dietary intolerances and all dining room staff were well briefed and the chef was fabulous. Nothing was a trouble. It would be hard to mention any staff member by name but Katie at reception whom we met on arrival set the scene to a very high standard, The standard never slipped and each and every member of staff from housekeeping, to bar staff , restaurant, kitchen staff and spa are at the top of customer service standards. I have stayed in many first class hotels - but Killeavey is a class on its own. Just wonderful.

The hotel was pure luxury and the spa facilities were so relaxing. The food in the Bistro was delicious, would definitely stay here again

The whole place was beautiful stunning views. I stayed in the large cottage and it was amazing, plenty of room high standard very clean. The beds were comfortable the place was huge I didn’t even notice or hear any of the other guests in the cottage lovely views.

We had Afternoon Tea today and would highly recommend this delightful experience. In particular to Amy and James who looked after us throughout in a very courteous, friendly and professional manner..
