My husband and I were there last week, for two nights, and it was perfect!! Having more than one bed was nice and the room was plenty big. It is a quaint Inn that is tended to beautifully. My favorite part was that the restaurant, where the food was very good, and the pub were on each side of the Inn. If you can, stay on a night when there is music (traditional Irish music!). We were fortunate to listen to some of the most beautiful voices I have ever heard. Get there early because the locals will fill the place up! I will definitely stay there when I go back to Rostrevor!

Fabulous 3 night stay in room 4 on first floor front of building. Check-in in the bar was excellent, as was advice and info. Had a great walk before breakfast the first morning up to Clough Stone and then across to Kodak Corner. Well worth the climb for amazing views. Took the car ferry across to Carlingford after breakfast (touristy but very attractive village). Next day had a couple of hours in Warrenpoint and were lucky enough to catch the piping band marching past. Rostrevor itself is a friendly village with great places to eat and drink. Special mention to Fearon's bar and The Shack for pizza on their outdoor terrace in the evening sun. Be aware that no-where seems to be open for food Monday/Tuesday except the Chinese takeaway and a traditional takeaway - if you're staying at the Inn you can eat your takeaway in the bar. The Rostrevor Inn has a great restaurant with brilliant service and Crawfords Bar is small and friendly with a rear snug area if the front space is busy as it will be on live music nights. Kept the bedroom windows open as the bed was a little too warm.

Hi, had a return visit to the Rostrevor Inn and once again had a great stay. Couldn't get our normal room as late booking but room as always spotless and well presented. Breakfast was very good and we had booked an evening meal with it which also was good. Recommend this Inn highly for a great place to stay right in the heart of the lovely village of Rostrevor.

The place is suitabile for short business trips as well, because it offers single rooms as well which was hard to find for us in this area. The staff was particularly friendly, helpful and was so kind to adjust our booking when we needed to.

Myself and my wife stayed overnight in the Rostrevor Inn during the local literary festival and thoroughly enjoyed our experience there. From the moment we arrived until we left, the staff were friendly and good humoured. The one difficulty is that there is no dedicated parking available, but we found a spot directly opposite. We had dinner in the Inn and the food was gorgeous, with ample portions. The full Irish breakfast next Moring was simply delicious. The Inn is a modest establishment but what it provides is of the highest quality.

We went at this restaurant because of the good reviews, and because it was within walking distance from our B&B. We LOVE fish. The taste of the sea of fresh fish is sublime! Why covering it with strong flavor sauces?! It’s a waste… So we asked for our “Fillet of hake with tiger prawns” WITHOUT SAUCES. It came WITHOUT PRAWNS TOO… Ok, no worries, we didn’t want to bother about that. BUT, when we came out of the restaurant, we realized that WE PAID FOR THE PRAWS THAT WE DIDN’T EAT!!! Plus, the wine: very very expensive! What a shame… :-(

Very mixed feelings about this little place. On arrival very friendly member of staff checked me in .Our room was at the very top of the house ,I am not sure that its accessible to Those with a disability .The room was clean and bright and beds where comfortable. Tea coffee and water was provided. When I tried to take a shower the thermostat was broken and honestly the water would have scalded ! I reported this to a member of staff and the manager came to report he couldn't fix the problem ,there was no offer of a change of room ,so no shower at all. We are in the restaurant on Sat nite the service and food where very good and we enjoyed starters and main course. It should be noted that the accommodation is not in the same building as the restaurant and bar but accessed by a separate door in the street . Breakfast on Sunday morning was a disappointment, we sat down and where offerred tea and coffee and then waited for 50 full mins on our Cooked breakfast which would be excessive even on a busy morning but there was around three other tables to be catered for .when breakfast arrived there was no apology for the delay .Food was fine and hot when we did receive it.
