Barrowfield Hotel

Big improvement from last year.Bathrooms ,carpets, windows are all new,and guest rooms have been decorated. Staff in restaurant, and bar were excellent and could n t do enough for you. Food was served with a smile and was very good.with a wide selection . Entertainment was aimed at the majority of the guests ,who were retired couples. They loved it, especially the bingo and quizzes .Our party of 8 think it was the best stay in a Daishs hotel. We ll be back.
OYO Newquay Beach Hotel
4.1/566 Reviews
This is a premium boutique hotel in a central location, close to town, beach, train station and approx 15mins from the airport. The hotel is fresh and clean but the most appealing part of the stay for us was the staff and the food. From the moment we arrived (Susannah at reception) everyone we met was so pleasant, friendly and keen to ensure our comfort at all times. We had dinner and breakfast in the restaurant- both were superb - catering etc is to a very high standard with attention to detail. Overall, an excellent place to stay and to eat.
OYO Godolphin Arms Hotel

We stayed in Newquay last week and visited the Godolphin on a number of occasions for food and drink. The bar staff and locals were very friendly and made us feel very welcome. The food was tasty and along with the drinks, good value for money. When we asked for a Sri Lankan curry that had been on the specials board the night before and had smelt really good, “Badger” the chef happened to overhear us and went and made it especially for us even though it was his night off. It certainly didn’t disappoint and was one of the best curries I’ve ever had, far better than many of the Indian restaurants I’ve eaten in. Can’t speak for the accommodation as we didn’t stay there, but a good place to eat and drink.
The Beresford Hotel

This is just an update. I have booked in here for July with National. The hotel is currently closed for a refit so it should be much improved when it reopens at the end of June. Will let you know on our return :)

Tired hotel in a great location. Limited parking, good food - beware of the seagulls.
