The Glendeveor

A well-priced convenient stopover location prior to carching a Newquay plane. Very friendly check-in with John. Small but clean room with kettle and en suite. car park at rear. Building not attractive and access to room was up two flights of very narrow stairs (no lift). No breakfast before 8 am. Communal Kitchan area and living room with fridge,ice and billiard table.

Great hotel to stay in , so close to the town centre, few minutes walk, but far enough not to have the noise. Lovely comfy beds and pillows, all rooms en suite, nice buffet breakfast plus hot food. Friendly no fuss hotel and a free carpark! Large lounge with fridge and freezer ( with ice supplied) where you can enjoy the view with your own drinks, Kitchen available to cook your own food.

Currently staying at The Glendeveor for a 2 night stay. Was welcomed by Serena who was friendly, very helpful and full smiles. Was a joy to be greeted in this way. I was shown around the facilities which are more than you'd expect from a B&B. Excellent. Was shown the communal area which you can sit and enjoy your own drinks, with a fridge and a freezer full of ice for you to enjoy. The view from this room is stunning. You can also play darts or pool or just sit with a drink and enjoy the view. I'm a solo traveller so just booked a single room. It was adequate for me, the enquire was new and the whole room was spotless. Everywhere is spotless actually. Breakfast included in the price. Was more there than I expected! Teas, coffee, fruit juices, toast, crumpets, croissant, fruit and even sausages, scrambled eggs and beans. Fantastic. I would absolutely recommend a stay here and will be back. The carpets maybe a bit dated but who cares when you get all of the above. Thank you for a lovely stay

Very basic accommodation. Poor quality cooked breakfast with no choices. Ants on dresser where tea & coffee were sited. Not particularly clean. Small room on ground floor. Easy walk into centre of Newquay. Excellent parking provided. Wouldn’t stay again

I would have to rate this hotel a 0.00000… it is one of the hotels I have been in that I will NEVER visit EVER again and I hope people take my advice….. I had to endure **** being smoked opposite my room and the smell filtered In where I was sleeping was not good on my health and my fellow occupants on the same floor! The hotel manager did nothing to prevent this from happening only said… I can’t really ask….. I don’t know what room it is….. what a pointless remark…. I investigated myself told them to stop smoking went and asked for a refund and was refused…. Apparently it’s policy… If you’re unwell … a refund is totally acceptable In my eyes … and MANY OTHER HOTELS….. The breakfast was shocking and sad….. and I have never seen a reception desk so empty every day…. The whole hotel is dated to 1960s…. We try to live in hope….. this HOTEL DOESNT!

Great hotel, comfortable and away from the bustle but only a few mins walk to the town. Great for walkers as they have a kitchen and a laundry room. Breakfast is buffet style, with a good variety. Friendly helpful staff. Only stayed one night as we were passing through walking the coastal path but would well recommend and would definitely stay again.
