I booked a 2 day reservation through *********** for a NON Smoking room - The online photos suggested a clean and well-presented room. I arrived at reception, checked in, and received my key card. Upon entering the room my feet stuck to the room, the room was dirty and there was a very bad stale smell of smoke. I went back to reception and complained. They provided my with the keys for 2 other rooms, which I viewed. Both rooms also smelt badly of stale smoke. See attached pictures which shows smoke alarms covered with plastic bags to prevent activation, signs of possible vermin chewing the furniture. Air-conditioning which is unsafe and hanging off the wall, damaged furniture….. The photos tell all. Needless to say I told the reception I was not prepared to stay in their property and they promised a refund without penalty… The case goes on, no refund received, hotel do not take my calls, basically saying I need to speak with ***********, *********** have sent numerous emails and have yet to receive a reply In short, NON Smoking rooms and not NON smoking, the hotel is absolutely appalling filthy dirty
