Fabulous stay. Hotel is stunning. Incredible service, delicious food and beautiful rooms. Drinks in the Dining Room bar were fantastic and we loved our bartender. In the morning, we had one of the best hotel breakfasts I've had in a while. Could not ask for a better hotel experience. I can't wait to stay at The Vanderbilt again.

The Vanderbilt Hotel is such a beautiful stay and has such history behind it also. The hotel has character dating back to when it was a private home. The staff is professional and provide a welcoming and exceptionally attentive,ensuring every guest feels welcomed. The rooms are spacious and impeccably decorated. Each room offers plush bedding, luxerious toiletries. The on site restaurant offers well crafted menu with fresh and local sourced ingredients The hotels location is ideal maintaining a serene atmosphere and the hotel promises a memorable stay filled with comfort and luxury. The Vanderbilt stands out as a top notch destination when visiting Newport and we Highly recommend it for anyone seeking the best while in New England.

Great hotel in a lovely area. Very historic building. Building was a little confusing the way the floors are laid out. Rooms are a little dark but very beautiful. Location is excellent and the staff are amazing. Bar was great, food was great.

My room was spacious and impeccably clean, with plush bedding, elegant decor, and all the thoughtful touches you’d expect from a luxury stay. Whether you’re visiting Newport for a romantic getaway, a special occasion, or simply a relaxing retreat, The Vanderbilt offers a truly memorable experience. This was my second visit to Newport and second stay at The Vanderbilt. The hotel is beautiful and updated. The details from the candles burning to the soaps and lotions are what make it special. We loved our rooms, the dining room, breakfast, and the lounge areas. We also made use of the pool and fitness center on this trip. The hotel is very conveniently located to the wharf shopping area and lots of nice eateries. It's also a very short tide to the mansions. I wouldn't hesitate to return.

The staff make this lovely and special inn even more amazing! It is such a cozy space full of smaller cozy spots to relax and delicious food and drinks in the restaurant. It is located perfectly to walk around Newport. Whether with friends or traveling solo I love being at the Vanderbilt. The rooms are so beautiful! The bed so comfy! What a great trip!

From beginning to end the space and the staff were perfection! My girlfriend and I were treated like queens and even our pup was gifted a Georgian portrait of herself to take home as a souvenir. Such a cute touch! Highly recommend for anyone wanting to escape life for a bit.
