Great stay at Rydges Newcastle. Awesome location on the harbour. Close to beaches and with ample dining options right on your doorstep.
The only let down was the buffet breakfast. Not a great selection of food, and the staff were totally overwhelmed with the breakfast crowd. Food was very slow to come from the egg station and tables were left unclean.

The room is very large, and there is a large jacuzzi, you can check in by yourself, but I don’t have a driver license, and there was a problem with the verification point. I arrived late. I called the hotel at night and the staff sent a code. . No toothpaste, toothbrush cups, no slippers, you need to bring your own, everything else is good, living near Jesmond shopping center is relatively convenient

Servce: receptionists were nice and helpful
Facilities: didn't use but there's a pool. Parking available at fee and also easy to use.

WWilliamIt’s opened in 2024. New facilities.
Everything is spotless. Complimentary coffee (St Ali) is good. Body wash is a good brand (Byredo). Smells nice.
Awesome tech built in the room. Remote control blind and curtains.
Enjoyed the stay so much.
Parking is a bit pricy tho $35 for a night. The first two levels are usually full. You have to go to level 4 as level 3 is reserved for other companies. No lift on level 4. Gotta walk down.

GGuest UserThis was a great property which I believe is fairly new. Very large room, with kitchenette and great bathroom. Toiletries supplied were first class. Very contemporary in the design and layout and reception staff were most helpful on arrival and took us up to our room. The king size bed was luxurious, comfortable as were the pillows. I would definitely stay there again in the future.

There can be better rooms for the same price/cheaper elsewhere but I always prioritise The Lucky when booking as they always look after us. Additional bonus, they have a lift for accessibility.

CCarey LoyI stayed at the Executive Inn in Newcastle recently, and while the overall experience was pleasant, one incident stood out. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-appointed, and the facilities, including the pool and on-site dining, were excellent. The staff were friendly and welcoming upon check-in.
However, during the middle of the night, the fire alarm went off unexpectedly, and all guests had to evacuate. We were stranded outside for about an hour with minimal communication or updates from staff, which was frustrating and uncomfortable. While I understand such incidents can happen, a clearer protocol or faster resolution would have been appreciated.
Aside from this disruption, the stay was comfortable, and I would consider returning, hoping this was just a one-off occurrence.

WWangClean , great location, Thai restaurant next door is amazing.
Had to close all windows in the night otherwise can be a bit noise from people open and close the side door.
Spoke to housekeeping directly to request room to be serviced while we are away during the day, back late afternoon, nothing was done. Front office staff were nice enough to tidy the room and refill the bathroom amenities.

AAnonymous UserThe hotel is very average, listed as four-star, but it is far from the international four-star level. The room is very spacious and not too small, but the facilities are average, and the floors are all below the fifth floor, so any room type you book will not have a sea view. The hygiene of the room was very poor. It felt like the tea cups had not been washed, and the tea stains that could have been easily cleaned were clearly visible. There is a layer of dust on the tabletop in the room, and fine yellow hair can be seen on the walls of the bathroom.

Upon checking was informed it cost me 16$ for a day,we stayed 4 days and last night I realized was charged 128 $ which means was charged double or to my understanding does a day means 12 hrs ?

We had the perfect room as we were placed where we could come in and go out without any hassle.
The room was very comfortable and we were able to see our car as it was parked outside our room.
