Ticked All Our Boxes Quality Quiet No Gyms No Treatments No Hassle All Staff Exceptional Waiter Not Only Remembered you had wine left over from the previous night but also remembered what it was called Room 1 was Superb Comfortable and Lashings of Hot Water for bathing and showering Braver, more peripheral Choices on the dinner menu where rewarded with some superb flavour as opposed to the more traditional choices Breakfasts where as good and well cooked and presented as anywhere we have been Breakfast in Library Dinner in Other Restaurant (Your Choice) Tea / Coffee & Cakes Inc in afternoon if you wanted them We booked for next year already

What a beautiful hotel, surrounded by acres of land. The service from checkin to checkout was faultless. Everyone was friendly and polite offering excellent service. The room was spotless with lovely toiletries in the bathroom which had both a roll top bath and separate shower ( Room 10).we had booked with their spring offer which was excellent value for money. It included a cream tea and dinner, both of which were lovely. It was our first visit but we definitely be back.

We received a lovely welcome. Our room was very pleasant with views of the immaculate grounds. Everywhere was very clean. Dinner service no problems and food tasted good. I would have preferred my main course to be hot rather than luke warm. Breakfast all good. We enjoyed our stay and would return.

We booked by telephone and the receptionist was very helpful in making sure we had the most suitable room. It was the same receptionist who greeted us on our arrival. Grace you are an asset to the hotel with your friendly and helpful attitude. Our room was very nice and the bathroom was large and excellent. If only it had a magnifying mirror for those of us whose eyesight is not so good it would be perfect. The meals we had were very good, dinners and breakfasts, and we would certainly stay again if we were visiting the area.

We have stayed at Wrea head Hall now three times, we love it that much! The rooms are absolutely beautiful, the food is outstanding and the service is nothing short of brilliant, all the rooms we have stayed in are decorated to a high standard and fit perfectly with the history of the Hall, clean and welcoming with very comfy beds.

This is a lovely hotel - quite different from the usual Scarborough fayre. The Sunday lunch is the only place you can go in the area for this level of quality and price. Yes you can travel to The Pheasant/The Star Inn at Harlem but really why would you when there is this level of Sunday lunch right here. Excellent quality. Excellent surroundings. Excellent staff. We have tried the rest. This is absolutely the best.

We’ve been here a few times now and can’t fault the place really. The rooms are spacious and spotless and the service is excellent. The food is really nice - especially the eggs benedict for breakfast in the morning. The bar is nice and cosy for pre and post dinner drinks. Don’t go if you’re expecting a wild time full of young people because it’s not that kind of place but if you’re after a really classy, quiet break you can’t go wrong. The fact that the only criticism we could come up with is that that wilted greens side dish at dinner didn’t always have the really tasty asparagus in it should speak volumes.

Recently paid a return visit to Wrea Head Hall after our first overnight stay in December to celebrate a birthday. This time we took advantage of a special offer and stayed for two nights on a DBB basis. We reserved the same room as our first visit - room 43 in the Carriage House - as we liked the room so much. Once again we had a thoroughly enjoyable stay. One of the highlights of this hotel is the staff. Many of them are young, but they have been very well trained. They are professional and friendly. We would like to mention Josh in particular, who handled a small problem with dinner on our second night in a very competent and helpful way. Wrea Head Hall is a lovely hotel that gives good value for money and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.
