My son and I were having the worst week possible trying to move him from NY to Florida. Our living arrangements were terrible so I decided to get a hotel. Being disabled I needed special accommodations. When I was researching hotels in the area, I felt that Red Roof Inn was the choice. I was not disappointed. Daniel Fisher answered the phone and assured me that he would do everything in his power to meet my needs, which included arriving early and checking out past the 11 am timeframe. Upon arrival, Mr. Fisher guided me to my room that was the closest to the entrance. The room was a suite, that included two queen beds( extremely comfortable), a desk, and a small dining table. The room was spotless. I also needed some assistance with personal issues which Mr. Fisher, Gerald, and the rest of the amazing staff took care of. Daniel Fisher the general manager and his staff bent over backwards to help my son and I. We applaud and thank you !!

My husband and I stayed here for four nights when we came up for HS graduation. This was the closest hotel to my daughter's and most reviews were good, so took a chance. The lobby and eating areas are attractive and there is a patio with gorgeous flowers. We got a room on the fourth floor, quite a walk from the elevator which was the quiet we asked for. We had a separate bedroom and the kitchen area was well-equipped. The room was showing a little wear and tear (the couch was broken and hard to sit on; a hole in the black-out curtain) but was very clean. I used the computer downstairs to print boarding passes. Wi-fi worked very well! Breakfast was adequate; we ate there three of our four mornings and did just fine. The two staff members we interacted with were polite and pleasant. I am delighted to discover a place we can return to when we visit again.

This is a nice hotel with a great location. That being said we were not satisfied with our stay. We checked in and all seemed good with the room untill we got back to the room after dinner and realized the AC was not cooling the room. I called the front desk and told them and requested another room. She said all the rooms were booked so she could not move us and suggested we just turn off the AC and run the fan as the cool air outside would cool.the room. How she knew to do that I can only assume it's s regular complaint. What really upsets me is the next morning at 6 am I went to get ice and happened to look at the door seals they use for Covid and saw 8 rooms on my floor alone with unbroken seals. Why she lied about not having a room to move us to to I don't know. So if you like to sweat and like to be lied to this is the hotel for youm

Listen... For a utility hotel for a traveller, this is perfect. Staff - super professional. Room - super clean, good size. Facilities (gym) great. Personally I like this hotel very well. Pros: the staff called for advance check in. By the time we got in the hotel the cards were waiting for us, the best on our trip. The rooms are clean, large and comfy. Didn't get to check the TV channel or if it's a smart TV though. The breakfast is very good. Free coffee / tea all day long at the lobby. What a Stressful and horrible experience! I booked a block of rooms for my wedding guests about 6 MONTHS ahead of time, a brunch room and a shuttle to the venue. about a month before the wedding my guests who had booked rooms months before, called me panicking that they called the hotel to confirm their room and they had been told they didn't have reservations, or that it was incorrect in some way. I called the hotel to find out what the issue was and BOTH women I spoke to were incredibly rude and not helpful. The room issues were fixed, so I asked about the brunch room and shuttle I had booked months before and not only did they have the wrong date and time for the brunch they had given the shuttle to another wedding! I have a contract and email proof of the agreement we had and they obviously couldn't be bothered to take note in their calendar. We had to work things out, which was an unnecessary stress added to my list a month before the wedding. The Brunch room was TINY I was told it would hold 40 people but when we arrived it barely held 20. I wish I had known, we would have gone to a restaurant for brunch instead. THEN to top it all off. I provided a guest goodie bag for EACH of my guests, I not only told them on the phone that it was one per GUEST NOT PER ROOM i also told them when I dropped them off. Then I find out people are checking in and only getting one per room. One of my bridesmaids called TWICE to remind them one per GUEST and they still continued to mess it up! The completely RUINED a HUGE part of my wedding since myself and most of my guest were coming in from out of town. I thought I was dealing with a Manager Cody, but honestly I hope he isn't a manager as he completely dropped the ball on my wedding and added an IMENSE amount of stress that I did not need. I have also told my wedding venue to take them off their recommendation list because of this added stress. I wouldn't wish that on a bride! Wish I could've given Negative 5 stars for this place!

Love this booking, I was there for two nights. Hotel room is huge , bathroom is also huge, I like that it has a big sink table, which actually allows people to put their bathroom necessities on.
The self- laundry service is very reasonable in price. First time using.
The staff were all super nice and professional, and some even energetic. Can tell they like their job. Especially the cheerful guy at day time.
The cleaning lady also cleans daily
The swimming pool and gym are small, but enough
The breakfast is simple but decent

GGuest UserWe had an amazing experience at the Howard Johnsons. Lou the night manager was absoletely amazing, who made us feel very safe. The rooms are clean and the beds was very comfy. Though, the breakfast was quite iffy… And the morningstaff was not very friendly.

邬邬The hotel is located on the high-speed side, the traffic is very convenient, very close to the Woodbury Outlets, half an hour's drive. You can also make an appointment to visit the nearby West Point Military Academy. Unfortunately, due to time problems, I did not go to the military academy to visit. I regretted it and hoped to make up for it next time. The floor is not high, only two floors, although very close to the road, but the night is very quiet. Have a simple breakfast, make waffles yourself, and toast.
