Compared to rooms in Manhattan, the space is really large, with a sofa, and our two large suitcases can be spread out and there is room to walk. It is equipped with a small refrigerator, and all basic facilities are available. Transportation is also very convenient. Sixth Avenue is right outside the door, and it takes only a short walk to Times Square. If you go to the subway station, you can walk to the D E line in about a few minutes (not recommended, try to avoid it because it is too dirty), and then go forward to 34th Street and take the 123 line (this one is very clean and has station announcements). It is not far to walk back to 42nd Street to get to PENN Station, and you can go directly out of New York.

Too...too...expensive (blame my own poverty 🤦), the view from the room is nice. Maybe because it is in the center of New York, the hotel lobby and public spaces are quite cramped.

Very nice hotel inside, being in Chinatown it caters primarily aimed at Chinese clientele, hence it was difficult for us to find many options of vegetarian breakfast. Having said that, there was always fruits, breads, toasts, etc the standard staples so no complaints. Reception staff weren't too welcoming as they seemed to just get you past their desk, not sure whether that was racism or just the culture. Rooms are nice and spacious and location of hotel is very convenient for travellers depending on public transport. Several of chinese eateries right at the doorstep.

What I like the most is that the unit was not smelly at all. I have stayed at other hotels in NY for the same price that I have to request change of room because of the heavy mold / humidity / smoking odor. I am very allergic and my body react to these odors instantly. This room was completely free of uncomfortable odors. It was and smelled very clean. The only thing I didn't like was that I book a room with 2 beds for 3 people because I was traveling with a senior and they gave us a room with 1 bed and a sofa bed. It was small for 3 people - specially for a senior- and it was not what I paid for. It was a bit uncomfortable but we managed. I would definitely stay here again but I would make sure to call the hotel prior to booking to make sure they give me the right room. Other than that small issue our stay was very enjoyable and the price couldn't be better for the location, service, and conditions of the hotel.
