This hotel is immaculate and absolutely everybody is above and beyond pleasant. Though not directly affiliated with the hotel, Inexpensive, super clean and very easily accessible parking is a two minute walk away at 25 Kent St. We paid $64 for 2 1/2 days of parking. The room was incredible. Exposed brick walls with super high ceilings, the bathroom had a huge tub and a wonderful shower. Pro tip: if traveling with someone that you do not want to see you naked, understand that it is not a one-way mirror over the bar and you absolutely CAN see into the shower While someone is showering. Luckily I was with my daughter, so this was not a real issue. The restaurant within the hotel and the Ramen place directly next-door are both wonderful. I did not make it to the rooftop bar this time but since I absolutely will stay at this hotel every time I come to visit I will check it out next time! The room was extremely quiet, temperature was easy to control. Now, a little too much honesty, I am an extremely “sensitive” person, and resting and hearing so much from the second I stepped into this hotel. I was never scared, as I definitely don’t typically get scared, but I had numerous very genuine and very obvious things happen while I say that this hotel, such as seeing things walk across the hall in both my room and the hallway, in the main lobby bathroom someone walked into the bathroom and into the stall next to me, but never left, and when I looked, there was no one there, and I was in the shower. I could hear several men talking to each other as if they were right next to me. I was definitely not hearing people from another room. I also heard the door to the stair well open, which is right next to our room and I was right next to the door so when I looked, there was nobody there and I pulled it shut again. Just out of curiosity, as to what was there prior to the hotel, on the way home my daughter looked up the history to the hotel. Let’s just say it was very enlightening as to why i was experiencing so much activity in this hotel, especially on the third floor next to what I will assume would have been a fire escape at some point. It also may explain why the first thing that went through my mind when I opened the front door of the hotel and turned to my daughter and said “I’m surprised the hotel gets away with door opening inward. It goes against fire code. Anyway, You can look up the history yourself and understand all that I have said. :-) either way, a spectacular hotel at a decent price and a very safe and beautiful part of the city. I will definitely stay here again!

I had a wonderful solo one-night stay here in June 2024. The front door and reception desk were friendly, helpful and welcoming when I arrived around 10:30 p.m. They suggested I visit the rooftop bar on the sixth floor before it closed at midnight. My room, 509, was very clean and well-appointed with lots of fun and unique touches such as the local art, the way the coffee bar and snacks were displayed. The is a neat one way mirror providing natural light to the shower and bathroom but you cannot see into the shower from the bed side of the room. Grace was also very hospitable and helpful at checkout offering to store my luggage. The gentleman at the front door graciously gave me instructions to the park and waterfront from the front door. I also had a fantastic breakfast experience with such delicious food in just the right portions. Definitely dine here and get the bed and breakfast package, if you can.

Not my first stay here - have found it great for business previously - but equally delightful for a family stay seeing the sights in NY. Stylishly modern conversion of a grand industrial building and good-sized rooms. Stellar views across to Manhattan (best rooms have full-wall windows). Staff are universally professional, warm and practically helpful. If you’re staying in Williamsburg, there is no better hotel (and I’ve tried others.)

Absolutely the BEST place to stay in Brooklyn! Staff is always incredible and willing to help in any way! Rooms are great and views are fabulous! The mini bar offerings are well curtated, the shampoo and soaps are wonderful, and you can't beat the location!

We had a room with a terrace. The room and terrace were great. Except that the room is way, way, way too dim (way). The lights are so dim that we called the front desk and asked that they be fixed -- completely unaware that the dim lighting could possibly be intentional. For those of us who don't want to spend 4 nights in a hotel room that feels like an underground bar, the low light isn't welcome. The hotel should trust us with the judgement to pick the lighting brightness we prefer for our stay -- and install dimmable light switches in every room. That way, those who like to live in the dark can do so; and those of use who don't want to do so won't. Another grievance: If we're spending $600 /night at your hotel, don't ask us to give up our email addresses as a condition to using your wifi. That's low class -- and not even McDonald's requires you to give up your email address for wifi access. Final grievance: The restaurant in the lobby and the restaurant on the rooftop don't BOTH need to be French, do they? Remarkably, in spite of our frustrations, we give it a 5 star rating -- but it's more like a 4.8 star rounded up to 5!

The room was hip and modern. No bureau? A bit noisy inside hotel and out. With its high price tag would have expected a few more perks - like a homemade chocolate or a complimentary bottle of wine. Hotel staff were okay not overly welcoming. Wouldn't return.

Loud music from venues such as weddings, well past midnight. Requested noise issue be addressed and it was not. Needed several reminders. Eventually at 1Am it stopped. No place for clothes except a few hangers. Fridge full of over priced items so little room for own stuff. Housekeeping awful. Asked desk as I left for 4 hours to clean room, was not done.

I live in the neighborhood for 13 years and Le Crocodile has been my go to morning breakfast spot since they opened and have had lovely service from the restaurant staff and the doormen; however, a new manager I do not know (Gabby) banned me, a disabled American veteran and Ukraine war veteran, for unknown reasons that reeks of discrimination based on my skin color or identity. She would not speak to me and would not let me pay my bill for two drinks which is normally never been a problem. Really disappointed and will no longer recommend this establishment occupying my neighborhood.
