Wythe Hotel

This hotel is immaculate and absolutely everybody is above and beyond pleasant. Though not directly affiliated with the hotel, Inexpensive, super clean and very easily accessible parking is a two minute walk away at 25 Kent St. We paid $64 for 2 1/2 days of parking. The room was incredible. Exposed brick walls with super high ceilings, the bathroom had a huge tub and a wonderful shower. Pro tip: if traveling with someone that you do not want to see you naked, understand that it is not a one-way mirror over the bar and you absolutely CAN see into the shower While someone is showering. Luckily I was with my daughter, so this was not a real issue. The restaurant within the hotel and the Ramen place directly next-door are both wonderful. I did not make it to the rooftop bar this time but since I absolutely will stay at this hotel every time I come to visit I will check it out next time! The room was extremely quiet, temperature was easy to control. Now, a little too much honesty, I am an extremely “sensitive” person, and resting and hearing so much from the second I stepped into this hotel. I was never scared, as I definitely don’t typically get scared, but I had numerous very genuine and very obvious things happen while I say that this hotel, such as seeing things walk across the hall in both my room and the hallway, in the main lobby bathroom someone walked into the bathroom and into the stall next to me, but never left, and when I looked, there was no one there,and I was in the shower. I could hear several men talking to each other as if they were right next to me. I was definitely not hearing people from another room. I also heard the door to the stair well open, which is right next to our room and I was right next to the door so when I looked, there was nobody there and I pulled it shut again. Just out of curiosity, as to what was there prior to the hotel, on the way home my daughter looked up the history to the hotel. Let’s just say it was very enlightening as to why i was experiencing so much activity in this hotel, especially on the third floor next to what I will assume would have been a fire escape at some point. It also may explain why the first thing that went through my mind when I opened the front door of the hotel and turned to my daughter and said “I’m surprised the hotel gets away with door opening inward. It goes against fire code. Anyway, You can look up the history yourself and understand all that I have said. :-)  either way, a spectacular hotel at a decent price and a very safe and beautiful part of the city. I will definitely stay here again!

I used to live a block away from Hotel alley in Williamsburg. So I have been at the restaurants and bars here for a long time. Now I live upstate and when I come back to the city, I would stay at the Wythe over the other big 4 in the area 1000% of the time. The service is better. The rooms are better. The vibe is better. The value, believe it or not, is better. This is the crown jewel. No shade on the other 3 a block away, you know who you are, but the wythe is the OG . Also my Sunday night stay here was less expensive than my Monday night stay at the Hoxton. Imagine that, any world where a stay at the hoxton costs more than a stay at the wythe. That's truly wild.

The welcome to the departure is the best part of this stay, of course including everything in between. The room is comfortable and clean, with plenty of natural light. I like that you can put your own items in the refrigerator but also can select from a great variety of products on the minibar. All the public and guest room spaces make you feel quiet, boutique luxury in a different way than it seems the competitors would be. Treat yourself to this experience!

Staff go out of their way to ensure every small detail of your stay is taken care of. From welcoming us back by name to at the check-in desk and also at the restaurant. The room was immaculately clean as was the bathroom. It’s a generously size bathroom with a nice rain shower with decent water pressure. They have refillable toiletries in the bathrooms, and I really appreciate their interest in reducing their impact on the environment. We also went to the restaurants Blondeau and Le Crocodile. The food at these two establishments are far and away superior to any hotel restaurant food I’ve experienced. Again top notch —top service and excellent cuisine. Well worth a visit to both. Especially to Blondeau at sunset because the view of Manhattan and the skyline is nothing short of spectacular. Thank you to all the staff for making our stay absolutely wonderful. I’ll see you again soon.

Nice and I had a great stay there. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I also appreciated the location, which was close to many attractions. ....... ..... ....... Happy for all Thank u You Great day

By far the nicest hotel I have ever stayed in. This was my second visit and the staff ( Peter and Kyle) were so kind and helpful! Absolutely stunning views of Manhattan, very spacious king size rooms with wonderful imported bath products. Ate dinner at on site restaurant Le Crocodile and had drinks at 6th Floor bar at sunset with stunning views. Ferry to Manhattan a short walk away along with great shops and cafes. It’s a beautiful property filled with such kind friendly staff! Looking forward to next visit!
