Location of hotel is quite centralized considered the price point. Room and restroom are both decently cleaned.

Clean rooms, but an extremely old and loud AC unit. Excellent location right by Madison Square Park. Note that they charge you $5 per piece of luggage for storage, and $25 for "early check-in"...which makes more sense if they're charging you to store your bags anyway. Make sure to put out the "Do Not Disturb Sign" as housekeeping starts knocking on doors at 9:30am, well before checkout time and not ideal after a night out. The front desk staff are doing what they can under the conditions, but you get the sense management is keen on extracting every penny they can get away with since they don't expect people to return - I certainly won't.

Decent hotel. Lacking basic maintenance though. Please take a look at your beds and lighting. The beds are awful!

This hotel is in a fantastic location with everything you could need close at hand and only a 15 minute walk from Penn station. You can easily miss the hotel as you arrive as it has quite a small frontage, the sign for the resident psychic sharing the same entrance and being more obvious(bright pink!). The rooms are fairly spacious and benefit from a microwave, large fridge freezer and iron. The furnishings are basic and quite tired in places but as a base to explore, it delivered and was good value for money for New York

Located nearby Subway for easy access and around sightseeing places. Friendly and helpful customer service. Hot water takes some time.

Excellent location, really good value for money. Right on Madison Ave, close to subway, and super convenient for sightseeing in Manhatten. Nice and friendly staff. They take a security deposit, I was told it would take 3-5 days to be returned to my account, but it was returned a few minutes after checkout. Hotel is located between a fortune teller and a juice bar.

With this location in NYC, I’d say it’s really worth the money. It’s convenient to go anywhere, very close to all metro stations. Looks like been refurbished not that long ago. Only shame was that the housekeeping service was just ok. Overall it was nice stay.
