Good: clean and comfortable. Lots of subways nearby and great location for MSG. Great views from the rear. Gym is pretty good. Cool vibe downstairs. Check in and check out completely seamless. Nice to have an iron and a steamer and a hairdryer all in the room.
Not so good: lifts frequently get temperamental. West 27th is noticeably loud even for NYC and it gets a bit skeevy this end of 6th at night -
not somewhere to be walking around alone too much. Clothes storage isn't great, nowhere for coats, and desk is pretty tiny. Multiple things not supplied or replaced as part of housekeeping despite supposed to be being included in the massive resort fee. For the first two days we rang down for replacements and none arrived without a second phone call chaser/going down in person. Only small things, and everyone in Manhattan charges this fee now, but most of them at least give you what they say they will. For example:

Clean, convenient location in Chelsea. Staff are attentive and helpful. I’ve stayed at other properties in the area and won’t stay anywhere else again. Innside is my hotel of choice in NYC.

I am disappointed in the "resort fee" other hotels include in the rate (except the water). Other than that, it was a perfect stay.

I have mixed feelings about the experience. On the positive side, the hotel itself was exceptional. The rooms were immaculate, offering all the comforts one could hope for. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was pleasant, providing excellent service throughout.
However, the area surrounding the hotel significantly detracted from the overall experience. The neighborhood was plagued with issues, including visible garbage and a prevalent smell of urine on the streets. Additionally, there were rats scurrying around, which was quite off-putting. The presence of homeless people in the vicinity also made me feel uneasy, though this is more of a reflection of broader societal issues than the hotel itself.
I’d recommend it for those who prioritize hotel amenities and service but advise caution and preparedness for the less than ideal surroundings.

Great hotel. Super clean and comfortable room. It was small but not too tight. Staff was very kind and helpful. Very quiet in the room. The particular location it's in is disappointing as it's kinda dirty / gross but is very accessible to subways and cabs. Great place to stay for the cost! Highly recommend.
