This hotel is very conveniently located in the middle of Manhattan, right next to NY Penn Station which has trains to both JFK (on the LIRR) and EWR (via NJTransit). My room was pretty small, but it had everything I needed. Everything appears to be clean. Staff were friendly and had me checked in and out quickly. I was provided with 2 complimentary bottles of water upon checkin.

The hotel staff is very friendly and the location is great, right in the heart of Manhattan, making it easy to get around. The room is small but cozy, the surrounding area is convenient, and the service is thoughtful! The bed is a little soft, but this seems to be a common problem in all American hotels.

This hotel has poor soundproofing. The clatter of dozens of exhaust pipes and boilers filled the air outside the window, making it impossible to sleep. There's a bar on the first floor, and the noise was so loud until 2 a.m. that I had to take sleeping pills to fall asleep. Rooms 1113 and 1115 were right next to each other, and we were woken by the banging of doors. Furthermore, his room light was on all night, shining into ours.
