Following a national strike in Belgium, our flight was canceled. I called the hotel to announce our arrival a day later, and everything was confirmed. When we arrived at the hotel, we were told that our room had been canceled for a no-show (despite my call and confirmation). The first solution offered was to accommodate us for one night at our own expense in another hotel. And after lengthy discussions, we were able to stay in the hotel and start our stay peacefully. I wanted to thank the front desk team, who were professional and attentive.
However, internal communication doesn't seem to be working.

The hotel's location is fine; it's 10 minutes from two metro stations. Connections are good.
The hotel isn't super fresh, but our room, 618, was clean and the bathroom had a large walk-in shower. On the other hand, a small downside is that the avenue is very noisy and the fire station is not far away...
