Guests appreciate the impressive spa, comfortable beds, and friendly staff. They enjoy the delicious breakfast and spotless environment. However, some may find the ambiance in the Speakeasy bar too lively.

A hotel isn’t measured only by design or amenities. Service matters too. Impossible to reach the team, and even urgent messages to the CEO were ignored. Disappointing lack of basic courtesy and zero accountability. Guests deserve better.

Not a great experience. AC doesn’t go below 70 degrees for the room. So plan to ask for a fan. When we left we asked specifically if we left anything in one of the rooms and the front desk said NO. 2 days later we cd called again, guess what they have what we left. No we have to spend money and time to go back and get it. SPA is very small and nothing special. Do not recommend this hotel.

This is my first hotel review, and I must say my experience at Fouquets was quite disappointing. While I can understand the appeal of visiting the restaurant or bar, I would recommend opting for a Holiday Inn instead. As expected in New York, the rooms were small, and we paid a premium for the location and brand. However, our main issue was with the air conditioning, which struggled to cool below 70 degrees. On our last night, we had to rely on a fan, and despite calling for assistance twice after midnight, nothing was fixed. It seemed like a problem with their system. The staff were pleasant, but it was clear that there were management and branding issues. The spa was underwhelming, and one of the showers was out of order—something that should be basic for any hotel. We didn’t receive any communication or apology from management regarding the AC issues, and when we requested a one-hour late check-out, we were denied. This was frustrating, especially since we had hoped to enjoy our stay and avoid moving to a different hotel. In summary, this hotel lacks class. No matter how nicely it’s decorated on the outside, the experience inside leaves much to be desired.

Goota say the Speakeasy manager Adam has the toughest job, but is also rude. They promise a seat at the lovely bar, but don't deliver. The recepition staff should tell the truth that it is onky available for hotel guest and presumably Adam's friends. Awful!

This hotel is one of my favorites in New York! Gorgeously decorated and very French. The bed was sensational and we didn’t want to leave. There are several options for food/drinks. The speakeasy with a secret entrance was a nice touch. We will return!

This is just an incredibly beautiful hotel that feels luxurious without being over-the-top. The food is excellent and was a highlight for us. We had breakfast every day and one dinner as well. We also had drinks at the cocktail bar off the lobby, which is a hidden gem. The service was incredibly friendly and attentive throughout. The location is a little remote, but once you get there you won't want to leave.

We stayed here over the weekend and enjoyed every minute. The rooms are impeccable and so are the linens and toiletries. We enjoyed the Brasserie for brunch which was top notch. We plan on coming back. Service though is not the same as in Paris. The staff needs some French intervention.

I stay at super lux hotels and was excited to add fouquets to my list but I’m sorry to say it wasn’t what I had hoped. I post reviews only when I see serious areas for improvement from a space and this hotel has some work to do outside of the design. Great location. Quiet. The hotel is in fact beautiful and new and well designed and it has a private club feel to it which is nice. Room was decent size and lots of light too. But the rooms are lacking the amenities a hotel of this caliber and cost should have. 1. No steamer in room 2. No complimentary mini bar snacks at all (very odd usually with lux hotels there are a few or the hotel gifts you some in a welcome basket of some sort). 3. The provided in-room hair dryer is so cheap and horrible (all lux hotels I’ve been to have high end hair dryers - Dyson, t3, GHD). 4. Turndown service is barely anything. They move the throw pillows, put out slippers (in the bag but don’t undo it for you) and close the curtains. They put two bottles of water on the same side of the bed. They don’t tidy up. They didn’t take our used cups, didn’t place fresh towels out, didn’t clean up the vanity at all (usually housekeeping will organize my vanity items, wrap up cords, fold towels, etc). Speaking of housekeeping, they are often chatting in the hallways while working and it’s pretty loud and annoying. Also if your do not disturb isn’t on they will literally ring your doorbell at 8:30AM to makeup your room. It happened to me. While everyone is very friendly, the service can be lacking. Waiting 30 minutes for a cocktail or one-hour for food is not acceptable regardless of being in the bar, rooftop, or restaurants. But one of the things is that if you’re not a celebrity or some sort (even D-list or micro influencer) while you get treated very nicely (everyone is friendly) you’re not going to get the same service or speed of service which in NY I rarely see so this felt weird. I also witnessed several times that they clearly save many tables for possible “celeb” walk-ins (they tell others the tables are reserved or they “don’t have enough staff” and then a semi-recognizable person shows up randomly not even staying at the hotel and suddenly the table becomes available. Meanwhile they are turning away paying guests. For over $2000 a night the issues above are not favorable. It’s a cool spot but for the cost it’s lacking a bit.
