I recently closed on some property in Evanston and needed a place to stay. I knew this hotel for years from the outside and was very happy with the room once I got in. It’s modern and clean and overall very nice. The only problem I had was the sheer size of the complex and the maze of hallways in order to find my room.

We had to change 3 rooms because heating was not working in the first and second. We froze the first night.

We were Never told where our room was or how to get there. We asked the ladies who were cleaning the rooms and they luckily informed us. Those same people were never around to ask us if we needed our beds made or if we needed our trash taken out. Our room looked like a crime scene with heavy damage To the room door, and damage to the bathroom wall. We called to ensure that the pool and hot tub were open and informed so but when we arrived the
Hot tub was closed. The room was cold and never seemed to warmed up. By the pool we noticed exposed wires so we did not go back after noticing. Along most of the hotel we saw old carpet as baseboards and our room did not seem clean when we entered.

It was okay. The only downside was the long check in wait for the room. At the place it says check in is at 3 pm. We arrived at the exact time and they told us the room would need about 30 more minutes before it’s ready. We waited for more than 2 hours for the room to be available. Lost our lunch reservation due to it. When we asked for a compensation they said the only thing they could do was call the manager and they never came. Other than that, the hotel was beautiful and staff were very friendly! Breakfast was amazing as well.

This place is absolutely terrible !!!!! They have bed bugs stay away !!!! They are supposed to give me a refund and now they won’t take my calls . Terrible
