Red Roof Inn New Stanton

We stay at Red Roof quite often, they are always very friendly and accommodating to us. This stay was no different with the exception of: I spilled something on the floor and used a towel to clean it up, then we didn’t have enough towels to shower with.

It was nice for a short time, lacks some services like a restaurant or at least breakfast

The floor was dirty and sticky… no racks in the fridge to put food in. No door to the bathroom. It was an open wall as soon as you walked in the room. The room door lock was on the outside instead of being able to lock from the inside to of the bedroom.

The hotel was very convenient for our itinerary. Hotel was nothing fancy, it was clean but could use some updating. Fresh paint, new tub surrounds. Key pads to enter the hotel were a challenge.

Had a bad smell in room. You get what you pay for. Dirty towels had stains Outlets didn’t work by the bed

AS SOON AS YOU ENTER THE BUILDING THERE IS A OLD/MUSTY SMELL. GOT INTO OUR ROOM WHERE BEDDING AND TOWELS ALL HAD YELLOW STAINS(OR AT LEAST I HOPE THEY WERE STAINS AND NOT JUST DIRTY). WE REQUESTED EXTRA TOWELS AND RELUCTANTLY WERE GIVEN ONE, WE WERE TOLD THERE WERE ALREADY TWO IN THE ROOM! THE SHOWER CURTAIN LINER LOOKED LIKE A ****** HAD TAKEN PLACE AND THEY JUST WIPED IT OFF. I AM HOPIING THE BLACK SPOTS AROUND THE TUB WERE FROM SEALING CAULK MISSING AND NOT MOLD. GOT ICE OUT OF THE ICE MACHINE AND HAD TO POUR OUT MY DRINK, PRETTY SURE IT HAS NEVER BEEN CLEANED. THAT OR THE OVERWHELMING MUSTY SMELL HAS PERMIATED EVERYTHING IN THE BUILDING. I DIDN'T EXPECT THE RITZ BUT SOMETHING CLEAN WOULD HAVE BEEN NICE. EVEN THE REMOTE CONTROL FOR THE TV WAS SO DIRTY WE HAD TO USE THE BAG FROM THE ICE BUCKET TO COVER IT SO WE COULD USE IT.
