Coconut Palms Beach Resort II a Ramada by Wyndham

Coconut Palms 2 was disappointing. Pre check in didn't happen because their system doesn't accept debit cards apparently. I had to come in and use a different card. Also had to sign off on about 15 waivers, most I've ever seen anywhere. I didn't see it stated when I booked that there is also a $10 parking fee per day which has to be paid separately, can't be included in the room charge. Studio room was small and noisy. Air conditioning is very loud, you can hear the traffic outside, loud clock on the wall, hear people in other rooms. They put me in an adjoining room and the door leading to the other room was paper thin so you could literally hear everything that was said in the room next door. Apparently they were also working on that room so most of the day I was in a construction zone with hammering and drilling next door. Place is kind of old, some missing trim, pool furniture is frayed, staff is average. For $150/night it was more like staying in a Red Roof Inn!

Overbooked (common issue), wasn't told this until I complained about the room I received that wasn't the ocean view room I paid for. Read other reviews and buyer beware. I had stayed here 4 other times with no issue in the past, great experiences, until now... I'm not staying here again.

The good- Location is great Price is very good Room is reasonably sized and the bed is comfortable The bad - The walls are so thin that I can hear every word the people next to me say The noise goes late into the night Since the walls are super thin I heard the neighbor’s rooster alarm at 6am each morning The room was not particularly clean Overall it was fine for a quick 2 nights and I really did like the location. If I were to come back with my family and/or for a longer stay I would go elsewhere.

Omg! Where do I start? Still under construction , dust in the hallways. The room? The floors were slimy, like a film over them which I thought was a cleaner but then I used a paper towel and wiped it, black! There was a film of dust on all appliances and the rugs were certainly not vacuumed. Fire detector hanging off the wall with towel draped over it, one of the blind panels was laying on the floor. No utensils in the unit (that has a kitchen by the way), kitchen sink…gross. Frozen stains in the freezer. Need I go on? Will I come back?!? Hahaha for $2000/5 nights?! No F’n way!

Not our best visit here. We've been the past 3 of 4 years. Our room was on the 5th floor and at times both elevators were out. This was hard for my husband who had a recent heart attack and couldn't climb the stairs easily. Management was very rude and told us we could just wait. The pool was closed early one night without any notice and people were rudely told to leave or they were gonna be locked in the pool area for the night. One family had just had pizza delivered and were trying have a family meal. And we couldn't sit on the balcony because of construction next door and constant jack -hammer like noise all day. Again - we love this area but this was our worst visit in regards to how employees treated us. The one exception was Dominic. He was always professional, very attentive and went above and beyond to help guests.

The moment I walked in to there so called lobby , I was disappointed. All of the personnel working at the front desk were rude!! There were no carts to take your luggage to the room. I had to make several trips from my car. One elevator and the smallest one I've ever been in. Parking was unbelievable!! The hotel is falling apart and dirty. The bathroom shower didn't have any grab bars , which was a big issue for us. I talked to the young man at the desk about moving us. That conversation went nowhere. Don't waste your money!!
