We stayed in a deluxe waterfront motel. View is amazing, bed was a little too firm for our liking but we still had a comfortable sleep. Lovely bath on the private deck makes for a relaxing experience. Bathroom and kitchen amenities are also great.

Deluxe motel unit was amazing, everything was thought of, even the handmade bathbomb for the outside tub. Bed was comfortable, and the shower was awesome. Friendly hosts, clean and tidy surroundings. The sound of the ocean was awesome while sitting on our deck.

The camp had sites with amazing views of the Port. The facilities were spotless along with the manicured grounds. The staff were friendly and most helpful, especially when we enquired about changing our sheltered site to a seaside view. We would highly recommend.

Great location being on the walkway. Great facilities. Beautiful watching over the Harbour seeing the boats coming in and out. Can be a little noisy at night over the weekend from the carpark below the park. A beautiful park to stay in. Lovely big sites.

Great holiday park in a good central location. Easy access to the coastal walkway (just outside the gate). Lovely sea views. The campsites are nice and secluded with hedges. Clean facilities and good amenities. Friendly staff at check in. Would recommend

Went to Belt Rd Holiday Park for few days break in campervan. Lovely views of the sea close to walkway great fish and chip shop down the hill onto the walkway Is a very lovely clean tidy facilities would recommend and go again great location just a short walk to centre city and town

This campground is one of those great discoveries that make you wonder how New Plymouth kept it secret for so long. It is literally a stone's throw from the shore&in view of the Port, to the West. Watch a sunset from your cabin or campsite. The facilities are great, but you will need your own cutlery &plates. Remember that dogs are required on a leash at all times &banished to the non-powered campsites with ZERO trees for shade. They are NOT allowed in a cabin.

We loved this place. The cabin was warm, clean, spacious, comfy and had a gorgeous sea view. The Spa pool was great fun (free as part of a winter deal) and exploring some of Mount Taranaki was really special. A beautiful mountain, it was a real highlight, especially the swingbridge and bush.
