You can tell a lot about the quality of service when something goes wrong, and in this case, it did. The hot water system failed, and the way the staff handled it was great. It was fixed within a few hours, and partial refunds were offered before I even needed to request one.
Otherwise, a perfect trip

Perfect location, good service, great rooms, and rooftop bar is a plus

I had a good time and this hotel is really cool and clean and fun. Everything was chill and nice

比周圍的其他酒店便宜不少，位置也方便，走路十分鐘左右就能到canal street。性價比很高，設施很好很漂亮。二樓的lounge很適合學習辦公。

It's much cheaper than other hotels around, and the location is convenient. You can walk to Canal Street in about ten minutes. The price/performance ratio is very high and the facilities are very nice and beautiful. The lounge on the second floor is very suitable for studying and working.

Will the valet is AWESOME!  We were in town for Essence Festival; there were a ton of cars and a lot of movement.  He made sure he communicated how long it would be before our car came out.  It was obvious that it was a stressful time but he worked to make sure everyone was taken care of.  The hotel rooms are nice art deco and large.  My only issue was the elevator, situation.  The hotel has three elevators however most of the weekend while I was a guest only one elevator was working, :(   There was a limit of five people max on the elevator and it got stuck multiple times.  Based on the other reviews this is an ongoing issue.  I am concerned with how the city allows a hotel with seventeen floors with elevators that do not work, this is a MAJOR safety concern.  If you are planning a visit and its not for a festival or convention I say stay here, it is convenient to the Super Dome, the French Quater, and a ton of good places to eat.  Hopefully, the elevator issue will be permanently fixed at some time in the near future. 

Not sure why so many reviews are negative. My room was superbly maintained.  The bones of this hotel are old, but the finished (furnishings, wall and floor coverings, beds and linens) are all new and up to date.  Troubadour's location, in the central business district near the Superdome, puts it in walking distance to the French quarter but is significantly less expensive.

The decor looks great & the staff was extremely helpful throughout our stay. Will @ valet was amazing. He took the time to make our interaction personable. Will wad chivalrous & attentive. We will visit again.
