Truly amazing place to stay!! Located in a quiet little neighborhood with good parking and wonderful architectural details. Stephen, your host, has created a true vacation gem. From the private garden courtyard, that loads of ink could be spilled on all by itself, to Stephen's knowledge of his city, it's history and eateries and festivals and the fact that a lot of it is within walking distance make this the perfect place if you wish to be in the midst of everything and still have a clean, quiet, comfortable place to come home to. Be sure to listen for the river boat steam whistle with your morning coffee in the courtyard!! We can't wait to come back.

I was in New Orleans to visit my son. This guest house, hosted by Stephen was perfect. The location couldn’t have been better- easy to walk to so much. Stephen pays a lot of attention to detail and has so many extras in this guest house. It was very comfortable, clean and well kept. The courtyard is beautiful with many plants/flowers. I will definitely stay here again when visiting. It is a gem.

Stayed for 3 nights in April. Had booked the room with 2 separate sleeping areas but the booking agent messed it up so ended up getting 2 rooms in the house rather. I don’t know how it can be called a hotel. Not once did I see anyone who worked there besides the cleaning lady when there was a room change over. Rooms are not serviced unless you specifically request. The building is old, with paint peeling and wallpaper falling off. It is indicative of a house in that road and to be fair the road is very quiet at night, but felt like we were sleeping in Granny’s old house with children coming in at all hours of the night to head to their bedroom. One of the rooms didn’t have a wardrobe or drawers to unpack, the other one only had hanging cupboard space. No safe in the room, no dressing gowns. Should be relisted as a shared Air BnB. Would not recommend.

Very disappointing experience. We arrived fairly late to a room drastically different from what we booked. We very intentionally booked a king size room and arrived to a queen with some noticeable decor downgrades. There were exposed wires hanging out of the wall, and the floors weren’t particularly clean. The response from Staff was rude, dismissive and unacceptable. We have now had zero response from them for over two days. I would not book this property due to this bait and switch and false advertising. Very poor hospitality for a company named hospitality Nola. See photos for booking photo as well as what we arrived to.

This review is only for room 11. The room was really cold. The air conditioner was broken and we had to sleep without heating. We found a heater but it was broken. The bathroom was really small……………….

Spacious lodging and well appointed guest house; beautiful courtyard. It was very clean. Steven was super helpful and had great information on New Orleans. The location is great; just above Royal and 20 min walk to Jackson Square in the French Quarter. Good, safe quiet neighborhood, with easy parking.

I had the great pleasure of a stay at the Pierre Coulon Guesthouse in New Orleans. This is not just reminiscent of an old New Orleans house. It is truly Old New Orleans! The apartment built in 1831 is just as their website states, a comfortable, peaceful, and relaxing place to stay. While nothing seems flashy brand new, it is beautiful, well furnished, and so cozy. I only utilized one bedroom, but for a larger group, there is a second. The bathroom is well appointed. It’s certainly a home away from home. The courtyard is just lovely. A great spot to just enjoy being in the City of New Orleans. The owner is kind and knowledgeable. Also available to offer tips and suggestions. I look forward to another visit.
