InterContinental Hotels New Orleans

great hotel. pool is shallow & kind of small but enjoyable still if there isnt too many people out. The wallpaper in the bathroom was peeling & the toilet paper holder was very loose you had to be careful to not knock it off & the chair was worn in the arm rest but other than that it is very well kept. Front desk was very helpful any time we called & the staff at Pete’s was very welcoming & helpful. Overall a great experience & if we ever come back to new orleans we will be sure to book this place again

The hotel is amazing but we’re near Bourbon Street area (which is what I requested) so there are a lot of shady people downtown and loud cars with music blaring. I realize this is the weekend and this is a party area but I recommend that you are alert when out walking in the area. Also the sidewalks are not in good shape

First time staying at the InterContinenal, and I loved it! The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable, the rooms are nicely decorated with comfortable mattresses, housekeeping is good about coming every day and cleaning. The dining at the hotel isn’t anything spectacular, but it’s nice (and, c’mon, it’s New Orleans; just go out unless the weather’s bad). Overall a good experience and will be back.

I wasn’t informed until checking that it would be a 125 dollar hold on my card for incidentals. I didn’t necessarily appreciate the surprise fee.

Original room we were checked into smelled of sewage as soon as we walked in the door. Checked the toilet but was nothing there. Had to take all of our stuff back down to the lobby and request a new room. The front desk worker didn’t seemed shocked when we told her what it smelled of. Thankfully she was very helpful and got us another room within a few minutes.
