The location is good, and the parking lot (24 dollars per day + tax) is right in front, so it's convenient. There's a water purifier, so you don't have to buy water separately, and the room and bathroom are also spacious. It's close to downtown New Haven, so it's good for walking around the neighborhood and taking a walk. The staff is friendly, and there's a microwave on the first floor, so you can cook simple meals. Except for the fact that there's no swimming pool in the hotel and the room cleaning takes a long time, this hotel is satisfactory in terms of location and facilities.
The bed in the room is very big, two 150 beds, very good! The hotel restaurant is on the 29th floor, the view is great, breakfast can be buffet or order, we mainly because of the view, so order, the price is reasonable
First of all, the location of the hotel is very good. There are many restaurants to eat in the front and back of the main road at the door. It is also very close to walking to various places of the university. Secondly, although the hotel lobby is not big, but set a lot of comfortable sofas, the layout is very warm, when I went, it happened to be during the mold match, the players from all countries were there to discuss warmly, there was a computer in the hall, I saw that people often used it, Sometimes it is really needed. Although the room is not big, it is not cramped. I have set a big bed room. The bed is very comfortable. I don’t know if I don’t feel that I need to get jet lag. Is it a credit to the bed? There is a long desk in the room, which is just convenient for me to deal with some work every night. There is a heating cabinet next to the sofa. It looks not good, but it is very practical. In this snowy day, I will twist and dry the small items that need to be washed and put on it. It will be dried the next day. It will be dried before changing clothes. It will be warmed up. I unlocked the new function. The service is just right, will not disturb me, will not be too enthusiastic, but when there is a need, can help in time, clean the room regularly every day, change towels, etc. (I saw some comments that foreign hotels do not provide these services every day after check-in)

The room is new and clean. The location is also very good, only a five-minute walk from the old campus of Yale University. You can reach the chapel by walking along Hight Road and crossing two intersections. I am very satisfied with the hotel. The only drawback is that the parking fee is too expensive, $39 per night, while Ctrip recommended $25, and it is valet parking, which is really inconvenient to use a car.
The hotel is very clean and is about 10 minutes' walk from Yale University. It is very convenient. The hotel service is also very good. I like the atmosphere of this hotel very much. It is clean and bright. Hygiene: Very good
The hotel is located in the center of New Haven. The layout of the whole hotel is full of charming Yale elements. There are 5 floors in total. The lobby on the first floor is like a museum, which is very eye-catching. The other four floors are accommodation rooms. The room is not large, suitable for two people. The bed is very comfortable and the bathroom space is not small. The room is well soundproofed and very quiet. The hotel service staff is very enthusiastic. There are many restaurants and grocery stores around the hotel. Several local Chinese restaurants are within walking distance, which makes life very convenient. The transportation is also very convenient. Buses to and from major airports in New York can be booked online and parked directly at the door of the hotel. The hotel is quite famous in the local area and needs to be booked in advance during the peak season.
The Hotel Marcel was quite Modern and very aesthetically pleasing! Upon arrival, I could tell this hotel was full of charm and personality. I especially enjoyed my stay in a corner suite with a King bed. The bathroom was very luxurious and I felt as though it was something out of a magazine. Overall, my stay was very comfortable and affordable.
If I had one gripe it would be that the interior of the room was very dim in lighting even when the lights were fully on (touch censored lighting was available). I wish more light was able to be in the room.
We went to vist Yale and it was a 5 min walk to the Visitor´s Office at 149 Elm St.
Lost of coffee shops and restaurants close by. The hotel has a Strabucks and free parking.
Apart from free parking and breakfast, this hotel is not recommended. The elevator is particularly scary. It sounds like falling. The elevator broke down once during the stay. Fortunately, I was not in it but planned to use it. As a result, the elevator did not open or move after pressing the button .
