We arrived just after 10pm and were warmly welcomed by Linda. Our room was on the first floor and overlooked the A31. The room was clean and comfortable enough for a night before a car event at Beaulie. There was no noise within the property and free parking was a bonus. If you need a snack for your onward journey ask at reception for your free breakfast box, with cereal, milk, pastry and a flapjack. The fan provided helped a little on a hot night. We closed the windows eventually due to car noise, but it didn't help that much!

Right on road, staff rude, no aircon, hotel in disrepair, facilities poor. Should be closed down, avoid at all costs!

I stayed here some time ago and have just got round to leaving a review. The hotel was clean and comfortable. The manager (blonde) and her team could not have given me better service. I was greeted like an old friend and the manager and the team made sure I was happy this is a blue print of customer service for your other branches

I booked a room for my partner and I on 01/07/25 around 20 minutes before arrival after spending the day in the new forest on the saver rate paying £83.99 for the room. On arrival I entered the room and was overwhelmed by how hot the room was which had no air conditioning. I went back to ask reception if they had another room and they provided another room but this was equally as hot so I requested a refund as I hadn’t used anything in the rooms. The receptionist agreed but told me to contact customer services for the refund and I booked another hotel in Southampton to stay. Phone calls cost 13p per minute to contact them so I used the online messaging service instead. I was offered a complimentary breakfast on my next stay originally which was eventually extended to a £40 refund but they refused to provide a full refund because I had used the saver rate. I’m now in the process of having to request help from consumer watchdogs to get the rest of my refund. For the love of god do not use this hotel or Travelodge and pay with a credit card if forced to do they can help you when you have to contact their soulless customer services. Avoid this place like the plague!

No average person stays here for a Holiday, it is about 10 miles in either direction from any sign of life, it's a stop off during the late of night, part of a longer journey, I've stayed in dozens of hotels like this, and they have all ******! This one is much the same as the above mentioned dozens, middle of nowhere, motorway service station etc etc. This one differs though, the blond manageress welcomed us as if it was a big city hotel, a smile and a laugh, and a bit of friendly banter before we descend to our rooms, between our group there were 3 of us, 1 had a front facing room, his only issue was a little bit of motorway noise in the rush hour, outside of that we have no complaints, it was clean, didn't smell of smoke, petrol station on site, what's not to like!

This is our second stay and there will definitely be more. I upgraded to a family room last minute and I was so surprised on how big the room was. Our bed was comfy and the pillows were like new. We had plenty of tea and coffee etc and plenty of towels. The outside area was lovely and clean. We were greeted by a lovely lady Linda I think her name was,she remembered us from 2 years ago and was super helpful and smiling. Over the next few days we met some new staff members and they also such a credit to the hotel. We also got to see kirsty the manager. Kirsty you and your team are amazing and represent the best of Travelodge. Looking forward to our next visit
