A wonderful home stay which is truly amazing when it comes to hospitality. Everyone is very sweet. The room was very clean with all the amenities. They prepared us home made nice lunch and dinner according to our demands. The breakfast every day was very nice spread of both Indian and Western Type Dishes . I was able to get my clothes laundered within 24 hours. This was our first stay , but will definitely come back again and again.

We had a great 2-week stay at Colonels Retreat 2 - as a party of 9 from New Zealand. The 6 younger members of our party stayed on the upper floor and had their own lounge just off their rooms - they were happy with what felt like apartment living. The food was really good - generous breakfasts from 7-10am, and dinner if you pre-ordered on the same day - was really tasty and very well priced. The manager and staff are all lovely and the entire place felt safe and peaceful. There is a nearby general store - just a 10 minute walk, and local transport - ubers and auto rickshaws - are all available. Remember if you arrive back after 10pm, some of the Defence Colony gates are closed - but there are ways in through other gates for your driver to try. The rooms are clean and spacious and have what you need, the air con was much appreciated and worked consistently well during the intense heatwave in June. I would recommend this place if you want a nice low key, tranquil stay in Delhi.
